I agree with you. In all honesty, I hope ohs beats the brakes off them every time they play but it's much more fun to watch the city teams when they are ALL competitive and for a long time, you couldn't say that about apollo. Maybe they are looking at some really exceptional candidates (not just looking at the coaches there), they could be thinking the same thing you are and they don't want to mess it up. This pick could haunt them for a very long while. I grudgingly wish them luck. Next season isn't that far away.

Owensboro Catholic (you neglected to mention them) has represented well over the years. They might not win night in night out but don't let their size fool you. Definitely not a walk over. But they are fine where they are. Traveling to louisville, lexington and NKY 4 or 5 times a season would deplete their athletic budget quickly which would shut down basketball (boys and girls), baseball, soccer, you name it. No more sports. Tuition is high enough and most parents don't want to see their money going to support the athletic department.

RGIII didn't play qb the entire time he was a Baylor was he? I thought he came in as a receiver before moving to qb. Jackson has been there since day one. I think even with his flaws, he's still a better qb than Griffen. But even with that, he still needs to improve his game.
