Bardstown plays great defense, and has a great coach. You will have to have more than one person to score against them. More than one way to beat them on offense. Looks like a good win for Btown; as opposed to a letdown from the Chargers. IMO

Miller from John Hardin has interests. Pearson from John Hardin has a lot of interest as well. Pearson has a lot of upside, could easily go D1 with some work

Jackson from North Hardin has numerous D1 offers/interest. Level of interest I'm not sure of however. Pretty sure VCU, Vandy, NKU, Samford as well as more have offered. Oklahoma, Clemson may have offered; I know I've seen them at a couple of his games

John Hardin losses: North Hardin Adair County Warren Central CPA, Nashville Paul Dunbar Cordia South Oldham Collins Central Hardin Long story short; quality of competition should count also. Mixed in those losses are wins against Central Hardin, Meade County, CAL of Louisville, and Murray. I think they're better than the spot they are in, but I'm also bias. They took on a tough holiday schedule, hopefully they will have learned from it.

I thought they would win this one also. But North doesn't have great offensive players. They suffocate you with their defense. They just couldn't turn TC over. TC beat North on a decent night from their stars. Gooden was saddled with fouls the whole night. Sloan was the difference though; that double digit scoring from the other guys on TC's team mostly came from open lay ups caused by either Sloan's passing or penetration. He was dropping dimes all night

North Hardin is a team of good athletes. They don't shoot the ball well at all. Outside of Jackson no one on the team really even takes Jump shots. Their identity is to turn you over and drive to the basket. They couldn't turn TC over. TC sat back in zone and overly dared North to shoot the ball from the perimeter. I thought Cofer was outcoached by Gatewood. The atmosphere was electric; North is a great place to watch a high school basketball game

Worth the price of admission. The atmosphere in the place will be great. North will; like I said in the beginning of the year, take care of TC. They let them off the hook last year in regionals; they won't make the same mistake again. Won't be a blowout; because North doesn't have the offensive firepower to blow people like Q and Day Day away. I will definitely be there to watch

Meade's loss to John Hardin isn't that bad; take a look at John Hardin's losses. South Oldham, Dunbar, Cordia, Christ Presb, Warren South, Collins, North Hardin, and Adair County. Pretty good combined record of those teams

Quality of opponents should also come into play. I think Central is a good team; but your record shouldn't be the only determinant. Records can be misleading. Should be a good game though.

I don't think Central Hardin is a top 2 team in the region. In the district yes, but not the region. As for the game, should be a good one; Jackson is having a huge year. But I think Central will force North to make outside shots with their zone, and outside of Jackson; North doesn't have good shooters. Interesting game though

Oldham County can flat out shoot the rock. Unbelievable......I don't know if they are top 20, they have no real size; but they can shoot the peel.

I couldn't agree more; it seems like all drives to the basket are fouls. Dunbar does attack the rim a lot though in their defense. I just didn't like the officiating in Lex during the tourney. Didn't seem up to standard, too many phantom foul calls IMO

Pearson got some cheap foul calls down the stretch; don't get me started on the charge call that Will took. North does play a very good 1-3-1 defense with Tony at the top. If outcoaching means that McCurry won't stop Miller from jacking up shot after shot; then I guess he was outcoached by Cofer. It was a one to two possession game down the stretch by two good teams....don't know why you keep calling this some blowout win by North (on their home court) BTW

I'm almost certain Jackson's family relocated from out of state. If this scenario is considered to be wrong then John Hardin's entire roster transferred. I know they aren't considered a state power by no one's stretch but they are almost entirely comprised of military kids

Pearson had 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guillory played ok. There was no answer for Pearson on the inside...He got two cheap fouls late and then Miller shot them out of the game. As for coaching; North got bailed out by Will Alexander. Jackson was silent in the second half. No coaching necessary for that (Good job by Alexander). John lost to Warren Central and Christ Presbyterian out of TN. North would have lost also to both of those teams. John matches up just fine with North. It was a close game and North won. They are a good team; but JH will be fine

North had an 8-0 lead; that's not huge at the beginning of a game. JH makes their free throws and it's a different game. Two good teams in the district that have a chance for the region championship. To suggest North is a better team can be easily argued. They were however the better team that night; and on that night that's all that mattered.

Ok; calm down a little. It wasn't a dominant performance. A one point halftime lead. JH cut it to 6 in the fourth. That's not dominate. It was a very ugly game with 71 free throw attempts. Maybe the worst officiated game I've seen this year on both ends. I think Adair is a good team, and this was a good win for a good group of kids. Your backhanded insult was warranted (big enough of a person to know when I am wrong)-and duly noted. I'm sure John Hardin would be pleased to play Adair County again.
