For Sayre:

 

Jake Duby put on a show. He finished with 28 points on 13/21 from the field including 2/2 from three point land. He also had 5 rebounds, 2 steals and a blocked shot.

 

He's one of the better scorers I have seen so far this season. Kid can hoop.

For Boyle County:

 

Bryce Slone is continuing to have a fantastic start to his varsity career. He finished with 19 points on 6/10 shooting including 4/8 from three along with 5 rebounds.

 

Baby J finished with 12 points and 2 assists.

 

Josiah Robbins finished with 4 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. I see you, Josey! I see you!

 

Dario Delcastillo had a great game and Mack Cox and Jase Sharp both provided high quality time on the court.

 

Colton Elkins finished with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks. Sayre did a great job of taking Colton out of the game plan. They sagged off of everyone and made it extremely difficult for Colton to get any clean passes or good looks underneath by clogging the paint and taking away passing angles. This is happening more and more with each game and each scouting report. I like what I am seeing from the team so far. They will only get better and grow more and more confidence with each game. Coach Adams is a bad bad man.

Josey is 100% from talking to him. They kept him out the first few game to let the ankle's get better. Josey is starting to play better and better each game.

Will has a bright future. He'll be the anchor in the low post for the next two seasons and his low post game is too notch. He'll see more and more time as the season progresses and he played well on Monday evening when Colton got in foul trouble. Work has prevented me from watching the JV games this week but I've heard he has been doing very well for the JV team this week.

Congrats to Boyle on the win, cant wait for the game Saturday against Clay should be a dandy.

When Josiah gets football out of him, and his shot start falling, that will help Elkins dominate even more, with 2 wings knocking down shots. Josiah's shot will come, if I remember correctly he made all region as a Sophmore. He is capable of putting in 16 pts. Right now everybody is packing it in on Elkins, but that should change in January
