How can you not like Cade Elam? Great QB. On the flip side, I think that was some of the worst pass defense I've seen online this year and I think the highlight reel showed the 4 Tackles that the Corbin defense must have recorded. (j/k)

I remember playing the Little League Rec Championship Game for the All Stars there every year. It was called the Toy Bowl but it looked so big to a middle schooler. It was a thrill to play there every year for that game. I'm like BEChargers, it's too metaphoric right now so I hope that the improvements will be completed quickly and completely.

There have been a couple of times that I am aware of that the two talked (or at least one did). In both cases I think scheduling proved impossible for either team.

70 or so of LCA’s yards came on the last minute TD. Take that one play out and it’s well under 200 yards for the game.

LCA played some great defense in the 2nd quarter but for Boyle only to be up 14-0 is not good. The Rebel defense has been brilliant but the Offense has made mistakes and only broken one really big play.

Ron Finley had some very tough teams but never could get past the Corbin/Somerset hurdle.

Actually Boyle had longevity from the 70's on. Buchanan was from '68-'73. Ed Rall was from '74-'87 and had a winning record. Sam Burke was one year interim. John Griggs was from '89-'91. Then Chuck Smith came.

Darius Miller in 2012. James Lee in '77 and '78. Ron Mercer and Wayne Turner the last half of '96. Don't mess with the JuJu.

He had a great team in 74 but only one could go to tourney and David Thompson kept him out. I seem to recall he had a great team in Davidson but didn’t make the tournament

He never did. He had a few teams that were capable, but never did win it.

I wonder if the assistants are afraid to say something to Cal like it appeared that Ulis wanted to. How often as Call spent a few seconds of a TO to consult his assistants? It's like he has a board of Yes Men behind him.

Georgetown. Easily one of the best programs in the 80's and into the 90's. Nothing since. St. Johns is in the same category. The rise of UConn seems to have brought the demise of the Johnnies.
