  1. Like the old owl in the Tootsie Pop Commercials: The World will never know ... 🙂
  2. Franklin County won last year so I assume you meant FC leads series 1-0.
  3. Scott has a lot of mistakes. But their offense has only produced 7 points.
  4. Must be able to hang well enough for a running clock.
  5. Two or three of the Scott penalties have been breaking the Huddle and substituting in formation. Once Delay of game on a punt cause half the punt team wasn’t out on the field. Rebels had two punt return TD’s called back. Also got an unsportsmanlike when the Scott OL pushed the Boyle Defender n the kid held his hands up to the Ref who was watching called the flag on the Rebel.
  6. He is only a Junior. But if he is consistently like this all year I can see him going pro after this season. Particularly if that 15+ foot jump shot stays consistent.
  7. Do you mean this Christ School in North Carolina that is currently 4-5 on the season according to Maxpreps? Look, I think Corbin is a strong contender if not the #1 team in the class but the teams that might be historically good were not this year. They weren't dodging anyone, just SK and Somerset were down this year.
  8. I don't know if this takes us off the purpose of your post but #2 is often referred to as "soul sleep." I've heard some pretty good arguments for this stance. You note that the "Lost" are separated from God. But are the lost forever out of God's sight? If God is Omnipresent, as orthodoxy has long held, then God has to be present not only in heaven but also Hell. Dr. William Hendricks at Southern once presented us with this thought in Theology class. He described Hell as the "ulcer in God's stomach." God is present, even in Hell. But relationship has been fractured and broken. He referred to this thought by saying: "Which punishment is worse. To be sent to your room out of sight and mind of your parents you have offended, or to have to sit in the same room with the relationship broken and seeing the disappointment in their faces?" Just a thought when I read your post.
  9. I think Boyle and Danville have more in the 30 year window.. That was my point. When ranking top programs over that time titles would not place them in the top 4 but their overall record of post season excellence would.
  10. I was referring to the 30 year window mentioned. No disrespect intended.
  11. I think you are probably right. Mayfield is there not because of the number of titles in that period, ( which is only 7), but the number of the times they've made the Final and/or the Semi-Finals.
  12. :thumb: You and I are on the same page with this.
  13. You are speaking of Editors and management. Many reporters look for the truth and to publish it. You’re basing your accusation on the Leads the upper echelon pick. While good stories that cover many aspects of many things are on page 2 or minute 20. Your dislike of media clouds your view of ALL of them. Not unlike many who view ALL officers as racist and power hungry.
  14. So everyone in the media feels that way? Isn’t that like saying all the police do is kill minorities? Neither statement is true and is a stereotype.
  15. Are you certain it was antifa?
  16. In my twitter feed alone I can share what I've seen. Flint, Michigan was peaceful. Lexington, Kentucky was likewise. Minneapolis last night. Pittsburgh, PA Here in my small town of Martinsville, VA it was a peaceful rally/march through uptown. I've seen similar responses in other small towns across the US. :thumb:
  17. A precinct was burned in Minneapolis.
  18. I read on twitter that Juzang used the appeal to be closer to family during the Coved Pandemic. FWIW, Sarr can't use that rationale.
  19. I don't know. Hence the query on my part. Someone else posted that when put on the stretcher he was cuffed. Which brings me back to the now, even more overpowering question - If cuffed, why the need to put your knee on the back of his neck to control him?
  20. I keep asking myself, "Did none of these officers have handcuffs?" If he were cuffed, and surrounded by 4 officers; how was he a threat to escape?
