A couple years ago Coach Haywood of Belfry went for two at the end of the first half to put a running clock on Lex Cath in the state title game. Coach Haywood is the classiest coach I have every witnessed, and he basically called the dogs off in the second half. I obviously don't know why he went for two, but in my opinion he figured Lex Cath was a dangerous team, and he wanted to get the game over with quickly. Like I said he called the dogs off so he did it in a very classy way which he always does.

I know Pikeville's middle school team played Lawrence County last week so they have already started. I have no idea about the jv team. I'd try calling the schools you're interested in.

I figured the Panthers would win but the margin of victory I found suprising.

I was hoping for a Western Hills win, and I really hate seeing them lose to crosstown rival Franklin County, but congrats to the Flyers.

It's great to see the Hounds get the win. I hope to see many more this season.

Well, the score sure surprised me. I know nothing about either team, but the game thread leading up to this game had me thinking Mayfield may be in trouble. Congrats to them. It's always great seeing a Kentucky team beat a Tennessee team.
