Good opening win for Paris.

Bethlehem got off to a 7-0 lead after their second drive, but Paris made good adjustments to hold the Eagles in check while scoring 26 unanswered.

 

Bethlehem couldn't do much with Barber once he got going in the run game. I'm guessing he had close to 100yds before leaving the game (cramps?).

Paris basketball point guard Marcus Ashford had a pick six and a 19 yard TD catch in his first football game since middle school.

Is this the start of big things for Paris?

It is definitely a nice opening win. The Greyhounds want to get back in that 1A top ten.

It's great to see the Hounds get the win. I hope to see many more this season.

Bethlehem had several mistakes in the punting game, as well as a few bad snaps that hurt them. And with Paris' kicking and punting game keeping the Eagles bottled up all night, Bethlehem only got across the 50 twice (first two drives).
