Impressive...Union City always seems to underwhelm when highly ranked. Mayfield being Mayfield.

Yes and both were very effective.

I didn't know how the 2 qb system would work but sheesh that was way better than expected. I'm excited not crazy. Milton Wright still runs this class. Til there out it's still CAL class.

Union City threw one pass in the game...That's right...one pass. They say they were the #1 team in 2A in Tennessee. I don't know. Very one dimensional.

 

Mayfield looked good , offensively, defensively . I think we got a good team , #5 in BGP's.. right where we need to be.

Well, not at all what I expected , with UC being ranked #1 I thought we would have our hands full. MHS is LOADED with guys that can hurt you every time they touch the ball. Having said that, I'm more UNDER IMPRESSED with UC, than anything. One demensional, SLOW, not a good football team. I think there is potential for the cardinals to be scarey good.

I thought UC was poorly coached.

They made a ton of penalties and the fullback moved early just about every play but they never called it.

Mayfield is loaded with play makers.

I agree with poorly coached, down 21, 28, and you keep doing the same thing over and over, so predictable.
