This is a little off topic but Keith Matchen and his brother Fred were both really good for Lyon. Their nephew Jordan Gary played there and ended up playing and graduating from Hopkinsville. Lyon County has had a lot of talent over the years. I hope they have a good year.

As of right now I’d say Mayfield is number one then Paducah Tilghman, McCracken County, and Marshall County.

I think the Trinity team that played the first half against Warren Central could’ve handled this schedule much better and at least won a game or two. However after they lost a few senior starters to injury their youth showed and they’ve struggled. I’m glad Trinity goes out and plays the best teams they can find. They just need to heal up now.

I hope the QB is alright and can finish the season. Was this game at McCracken?

Their 1-2 record is deceiving, they’ve played two of the best teams in Illinois. They lost by 1 to Hinsdale Central, #10 in 8A. And by 19 to Lincoln Way East, #1 in 8A
