This year would be their best chance in some time. Male and SC should be the favorites for sure.

Very possible but wouldn’t count out Trinity once they get players back from injury. Would be interesting if Scott Co won their last year in 6A.

That’s a fast ascension for Douglass, a team or school that didn’t even exist 3 years ago.

I would make the drive to Lexington to watch, should be a really good game.

Male would be leading the way, followed very closely by Scott County.

 

FD is getting a lot of love, and I'm not really sure why, tbh.

Leap year is more common than a public school winning a 6A championship, but once in a great while when the moons align just so a public school will sneak up and win one. But I still wound not bet one it this year.

That's where I stand on it myself. It takes a lot for me to take a Fayette County team seriously, they almost never live up to it. Scott County has proven themselves over the years as has Male and I could see either of them winning it this year. I mean I selfishly would like T to win it, but there is work to do to get there. I am sure they can do it, but when dealing with a young squad it is a bit unpredictable.

I think right now the number is three - Male, Scott County, and Trinity. The season might later reveal Douglass, St. Xavier, and/or Butler as a potential threat, but honestly I believe it is a three team race for the title.

It’s going to be Trinity,Male,St X or Scott. Frederick Douglas may give Scott a game but is not good enough to have a shot at winning it all.

None of Louisville teams can meet in Championship. Will at least be one team from outside Louisville in Championship. Most likely will be Scott Co or Frederick Douglass in Championship playing one of Louisville teams.
