It's definitely one of the finest in our state. It's sad to see that nobody comes out to the games. Hopkinsville is lucky to have 200 people in the stands.

From what I had seen of both all year, I would have to agree. It just seemed like Henderson had absolutely no identity on offense all year long and it wasn't like they were completely depleted in talent and had some very good size up front. They won't be down for long, though; they never are.

Speed and big time play makers are a huge advantage. Neither of which any of these three teams really have, with the exception of Bell and they are about a 6.5-7 at best on a scale of 10 in that category.

So long as it's official openings, I don't know that anybody hates it.

D1 programs paying coaches seven figure salaries usually get at least four years, and they actually get to go pick their players. So, I don't know, unless said high school coach who makes a whopping 7K to be a high school head football coach is a total jack hole, has no real knowledge of the game, is a terrible organizer, an even worse of a communicator and the entire program from LL-HS is a complete train wreck(given he has almost total control of it); I say keep your nose to the grind, try to schedule some hope and have a little fun when a group of talent comes your way and ride the waves. And so long as you actually have somebody who wants to commit all of those hours and headaches for slap in the face pay, that also happens to be the complete opposite of all the negatives I named above; let it ride and enjoy the good times when they come around.

I was referring to no Louisville Central as in, it puzzled me as to why they weren't in the overall Top 25. As for Central Hardin, no big deal either way. I could see them sliding in that 25 spot and in that 25-30 range easy.

I don't see what issues are myself outside of a team here or there, but what polls are flawless? As a whole, I'm OK with these. Ryle and Cooper needing to be flip flopped, Central Hardin being that high and no Louisville Central puzzle me.

Kentucky and the KHSAA does the tournament system better than everybody else from a fans standpoint. No question about that. As far as talent, in comparison to numbers anyway of football, I'd say it's about even; if not an edge to football.

As I was saying the other day. Garrard and their style of offense matched up much better against LexCath than they did Boyle. I'm used to people thinking I'm crazy, though.

This has the feeling of one of those, "glad we all weren't busted doing all the dumb things we've done in our lives."

I thought I addressed this in a post above, but I'll say it again. Garrard matches up better when they have the ball. Garrard will struggle with LexCath's passing game IMO. That's a given if nothing more than most who play them do. Garrard's style of offense will be similar to that of Johnson Central. Am I saying Garrard is Johnson Central? No. But, their styles and personnel are closer to one another than anybody else on their schedule. LexCath was able to sling it around some and that's how you beat Boyle (or have a chance to do so). On the flip side, Johnson Central ran through LexCath as though they were running plays on air. You can't beat Boyle that way. That's why I said JC wouldn't beat Boyle & they dang sure wouldn't be able to put up 42 points on them like they did vs. LC. I fully expect LC to win, but despite comparing scores (which I hate doing and seeing)- I tend to look up at match ups. Garrard (again, when they have the ball) matches up better against LC better than they did against Boyle.

Yes I am, as are you. And the right to be wrong, as you and everybody else on here has been and will be throughout these talks. Johnson Central wouldn't beat Boyle.

Tilghman with their speed has, does and will always cause bad match ups for people (or at least very concerning ones). I don't compare scores much. As some others have said, this 3A race might be a little more wide open than once thought (even though I still think it will be Boyle/Belfry in the finals). Being the 6th, 7th, ranked team in 3A this year with the team speed they have doesn't make me think "Flawed". Their weaknesses are up front and depth at those spots. Flawed makes me think of 15-25 teams in each class, not 4-8. I think McCracken is a great win. Matched up better with McCracken, too.

How does Ashland feel about where they stand up front vs. Johnson Central?

Than they (Garrard) did with Boyle, at least from an offensive (Garrard ball). It doesn't meant they'll win, it might not even be close, but they match up better.

Garrard will match up much better against LexCath.

I'm not sure I understand this? Don't get me wrong, I understand that beating the Tilghman horse is a popular past time here of late in the last few years. A loss to a then healthy 6A Central Hardin, and correct me if I'm wrong, but this game was tied at the end of three? I'm guessing depth finally took it's toll on Tilghman. A loss to Caldwell County in a game that was very much closer than the score indicated until the final few minutes when Caldwell blew it open. And, didn't Tilghman's QB get injured early in the game? Losing to Mayfield. Enough said. If depth up front and not being able to finish games late is their flaw, then I'd agree. Other than that, I'm not really sure what their flaws are under their new direction?
