Heard Garrard fumbled going in for a score and again deep in LexCath territory. Much closer than I anticipated.

As I was saying the other day.

Garrard and their style of offense matched up much better against LexCath than they did Boyle.

I'm used to people thinking I'm crazy, though.

I remember you saying it. Wonder if anyone will believe it now?

Believe it? Should.

Admit it? TBD.

As I indicated in the prediction thread LexCath can lose if they beat themselves.

Blown coverage on pass play.

Quit throwing the ball downfield after interception. Not sure why.

Ran Jaylen Jones up the gut and not off edge.

Did force a fumble inside the 5. D comes through again.

Stripes did blow a significant call with a defensive holding that was completely miss-marked and took away a first down...sigh...

Garrard had confidence at half time and came out running junior Jacob Foley (#10). He got banged up as the night went on. They executed the pass play they needed in second half when the Knights just loaded the box each play.

Biggest issue was the lack of downfield passing by Knights after interception that was not the QBs fault. Just to conservative and kept this closer than it should have been.

Maybe a let down after the big win last week?

Nah, up 21 to 0.

After interception got to conservative.

Oh stop. If Lexington Catholic would have kept their foot on the pedal on offense this wouldn't have been close. They got up 21-0 and tried to coast. Puzzling how much they changed their offensive game after that.

Of course.

If. If. If. If. If. If. Should have. Should have. Should have.

But, Expected. Expected. Expected.

You must be sipping that blue kool-aid again. See you in 3 weeks.

True Garrard will beat Henry County and march back to Lexington with some more of their guys healthy. Could get interesting since Garrard plays JC style.

Some photos from last night's game.

Senior Mike Redmond catchs TD pass that keeps it close.

If I had made a preseason guess at this game, I would have thought this score would be about right. Garrard has had some really strange things happen this year that have been out of the control of all involved. Maybe things are beginning to settle down. If so, they could be a thorn in someones side in a couple weeks.
