I don't think Dixie is a top ten team next year. They lost a lot. I'm pulling for them, and they deserve praise for last year, but i don't see them making a playoff run again this year. I hope they prove me wrong.

Yeas i was referring to state titles, but why is it almost guaranteed they won't win any more? As previously mentioned in this thread they have a lot of talent in the pipeline and a great coach. And who would you say is a stronger program than CovCath? Not saying they have the best program in the state, but there are not many programs that have had more success than CovCath.

What is the record for most consecutive 9th region titles? If CCH wins another title in the next 2 or three years with a couple more regional titles I would give them the greatest dynasty ever. Nobody in NKY has two titles. If CCH wins 2 in 5 years they are the best dynasty ever.

At least you are on the radar, but it doesn't gaurantee that you will recieve a D1 scholarship. When I was in high school i got hundreds of letters from schools all over the country, from the likes of USC, Bama, Michigan, and pretty much every school you can think of. I realized that it was unlikely that any of those schools actually planned on recruiting me, but it was still pretty cool to get the letters. I recieved phone calls from coaches and went on unofficial visits to UK, UC, UofL and some MAC schools. I even had an offer from one of the service academies my junior year. My senior year came around and for some reason I didn't have any scholarship offers from these D1 schools who had been "recruiting" me for the past 3 years. I had the option to walk-on and potentially earn a scholarship, or I could accept a scholarship to a smaller school and compete for playing time right away. I ended up at an NAIA school and had a great career and got a great education. It's a big shot to the ego of a player who goes from getting letters and "interest" from D1 schools to signing with a DII, DIII, or NAIA program, but it's a reality for a lot of athletes in NKY.

I was on a winless spring soccer team in the 7th grade. We lost every game by like 5 or 6 goals. Nobody on my team really cared. We were a bunch football players who were playing soccer just to do something other than baseball. We even got trophies for our perfect season.

Brock is the hardest hitter i have ever seen. had the pleasure of playing with him at GTown. My first play of camp my freshman year i attempted to block him when he blitzed the B gap. He broke my chin strap and put me on my butt. I lost vision for a couple seconds and thought to myself as i walked back to the huddle "If everyone in college football hits like this I'm gonna have to hang up the pads." Fortunately for me and the rest of college football Brock was an anomally, and was nice enough to take it easy on his teamates after we begged him not to knock us out in practice. Not a dirty hit either, Brock played clean. When blew his knee out our senior year in Montana against Carroll and we were crushed. Brock was the best player on our defense. I think he knocked out seven or eight QBs in his career.

Learn how to long snap. That can open up some doors.
