I am by no means qualified to answer this question, but I can ask it. With no Dixie players on this list, have you not seen the Red Colonels this year or are they a "true" team?

Drew has had a good season and I don't want to be "that guy" that says he isn't top 10 but I would put Rabe and Schreck on the top 10 list before Drew. And that's not a knock on Drew, that's just how good Rabe and Schreck have played this season.

Bolden - Holmes

Weyer, Pangallo - NewCath

VonHandorf - CovCath

Stockwell - Boone Co.

Snapp - Newport

Mitchell - Ludlow

Kunstek - St. Henry

Harris - Highlands

Those are ones I saw play.

Dixie has really nice depth and pieces. Maybe Rabe would be considered for top ten. That's it for me.

Nice pieces for Coach Chevalier. Bolin has really worked hard on his game and gotten better.

Drew Moore? I disagree. I don't know that he's top 3 on his own team. Schreck, Rabe, Bolin/hedger. He is an athlete no doubt, but far from a complete basketball player that warrants a top 10 in the 9th region. Just IMO, of course.

Based on overall talent alone, Schreck is the best basketball player for Dixie at this time, IMO. Can score when needed, great IQ, good passer, excellent rebounder (for a guard), pretty good defender, uses his body well in traffic and around the rim, decent athlete, and has some other things that you can't coach... Good length/large hands (for defense/rebounding), coachable, and he's really smart.

 

I would like to see him improve the consistency of his perimeter shot (which I know he works on)... But, all players have areas for improvement.

 

This being said, I 100% agree that Dixie is very solid 1-5 with Bolin, hedger, Moore, and Rabe. Also, add Meyer, and Niehaus ad they have a really good team.

I think coach Chev is just now playing his best 5 players together and playing to their strengths. moore went from a wing to the PG. Hedger and Bolin playing at the same time. This adjustment to zone was made just to play the bigs together. 1-5 this is a big team. Moore 6'4 Rabe 6'0 shreck 6'3 Hedger 6'5 Bolin 6'8.

I watched them play only 2 kids impressed me and that was Moore and Bolin.

You must have seen only 1 game. Shreck and Hedger just dropped 15 and 14 on the best team in NKY.
