Best 9th Region Players

Featured Replies

I watched them play only 2 kids impressed me and that was Moore and Bolin.

The game I watched Meyer started and Hedger backed up Bolin.

It's obvious you only watched one game.

I think Cooper Theobald is on the bubble. Love the kid's game. He might finish as a top ten depending on how he plays in the regional tourney.

You must have seen only 1 game. Shreck and Hedger just dropped 15 and 14 on the best team in NKY.

Yes but I believe Bolin and Moore could play at the next level.

Bolin for sure. He has the height and big time upside.

You are correct about Bolin. He has multiple opportunities to do that. Schreck also has multiple opportunities to play at the next level. Has drawn a bit of D2 interest. Not sure about Rabe, but I think he's also got some opportunities. So, that's 3 of starting 5.

And, hedger, is playing D1 football at Austin Peay.

Moore is too underdeveloped and raw at this point, IMO. Had he really focused on bball over football, he could be very good! Certainly has athleticism and upside. I think he'll play football at the next level.

That's 15. Maybe too many. Where do you place kids like Goetz, Kunstek, Bezold, theobald, etc.

Jacob Huff?

Awesome for him! Good school. I know some kids who have played basketball their.

Jacob Huff?

Where do you put him. Top 10? I know he can score a bit.

Not sure where to put him, I haven't seen enough of the other players on the list to make that evaluation. Just wondering what others think, I guess.

Can Dixie win the region, if they have that many good players why haven't we heard much about them?

Because Covcath was probably the first game all year that they had their full roster healthy and on the court at the same time...much like the football team, this is a very deep group that has been playing together for years. Chemistry to go with natural athleticism, length, and size as well as talent goes a long way.

To add to that, Newcath is probably the only team inside that can match up with Dixie, and if Newcath were to get in foul trouble, even they couldn't match up with Dixie.

6'7 Bolin

6'5 Hedger

6'4 Isbel

6'3 Niehaus

6'3 Moore

6'2 Schreck

No other team has that type of length or size in this region.

I would agree, if NCC gets in foul trouble they are hurting for whatever reason they do not play their bench and that will hurt them in the tournament, i never did get that. At the end of the day the regular season means nothing get kids ready to play come tournament time.

Cooper Theobald is top 10.
