Kash is a 3 sport athlete, 2nd leading scorer on the basketball team, and plays 1st base on the baseball team. His most impressive attribute is his vertical jump. Kash lifts before school everyday and is hands down the strongest kid at Paintsville High School(335 bench, 455 parallel squat, 315 power clean). His work ethic is incredible, it would be hard to find a kid who meant more to his team on both sides of the ball in 2014. He has been invited to several D1 junior days, the Tigers expect big things from him in 2015!

I had the pleasure to play against Kash and his older brother both. Great kids with great talent and great work ethic. Last year, just standing from the Raceland sideline, I could tell that he has really worked hard in the weight room. Looks like a hoss out there compared to the year before last and I really see him getting a lot of NAIA and D2 look and possibly some FCS looks. Good luck to Kash and the rest of the Tigers this coming season. I am glad to see the program in the right direction again like they were years ago.

Kash is an exceptional athlete at Painstville and I expect him to have a huge season next year for the Tigers. Looking at his numbers, he has more athleticism than I even thought. A 36" vertical is ridiculous. I do wonder though about his muscular endurance? Says he only got 185 for 20 at the combine but has maxed at over 335? When I played I never maxed out over 285 but could rep 185 almost 30 times. Having muscles that are conditioned over a long period of time will help you out more in football than one burst of brute strength. Nevertheless, a very impressive athlete who will have a very impressive career when it's all said and done.

Agree 100% Lion, most young kids go straight to the weight room load up the bar with their max and go at it. Typically these kids end up with tendon/ligament damage or possibly a torn muscle. Kash got 185 for 26, 2 weeks before traveling to San Antonio. To my understanding, he left after a basketball game, and drove throughout the night to San Antonio, so I think fatigue was definitely a factor. Kash is a FCS or FBS kid without a doubt, recent conversations with D1 coaches also indicate at least 3 D1 offers coming very soon. Kash is 6'3 1/2" barefoot, but he separates himself from other kids with his vertical jump and work ethic. On his twitter acct he shared a 360 dunk, that is impressive at his size. He also shared video of most of the lifts mentioned above. Very impressive kid, its hard for these rural East KY kids to get the respect they deserve. Messer from Raceland is a perfect example, that kid is a great athlete in both track and football, really expected an FCS school to take a shot at him. He is a game changer and to my understanding a great kid on and off the field. I think Paintsville, Raceland and Pikeville are all playing at a very high level right now. Look at the teams that each of them defeated in 2014. Class A football in region 4 is very competitive at the top and deserves more respect!

I agree 100%. Raceland is definitely at the peek of their program right now and I see them making the third and fourth rounds of the playoffs the next four years. Paintsville, IMO, is climbing back up to where they were 20-25 years ago and Pikeville is climbing back up as well. Hazard is also playing very well right now. Not like they were 5 years ago, but they are always in the mix on the East side of the bracket. Raceland, Hazard, Paintsville, and Pikeville are all fighting for that East spot in the Finals. Going to be another exciting year!

I've been fortunate to coach at and against the best schools in KY+WV over the past 17 years. I've also been fortunate to really know Kash. I will be shocked if some nice D1 offers don't come in. He is the best kept secret in KY. He's got schools like UofL, Purdue etc looking. I hope UK gets in the mix. For the people who saw Scott Co win it he's Scott Daniels cousin who was up for Mr Football.

Kash has outstanding size/speed but for me what makes him special is he is a FOOTBALL PLAYER!! He is PHYSICAL and he works his tail end off! He can't get enough of it! That drive is going to make him successful! He's a horse for a QB. College wise he'll probably end up at a Lber/TE spot. His tough mentality I'd say D.

Saw Paintsville maxed yesterday. Kash benched 330! It's hard to remember a Jr quarterback with his physicality! He broke the rim tonight on a pregame dunk!

The direct instagram link to the video Stick1 posted. Kash is going to b a beast in 2015 on the football field. With all the recent chatter about multi sport athletes, Kash has to be one of the top football recruits in Kentucky. He is also a very good pitcher/hitter on Paintsville's baseball team!

Kash is 1 of 5 in state underclassmen invited on an unofficial visit to UofL today. The last kid I've seen from this area is Channing Fugate from Breathitt who went on to play for the University of Tennessee. He's going to be fun to watch because he's not only gifted size/skill, he loves the game and works his tail off. That drive/passion for the game is a difference maker at the next level.

Via Twitter, Kash Daniels has picked up an offer from Austin Peay.

Hope the offers keep coming in.. I myself don't want to see an eastern Kentucky done the way Channing was at Tennessee.
