Wow!!!!! Really!!! It's voted on by their peers, right! I assume several felt the other candidate was more deserving or they wouldn't have garnered enough votes, right? Pretty simple. No one appointed the person that won it!

I dont have a problem with who got coach of the year. You could argue Perkins from Holmes as well but the coaches vote and coach Richey is well deserving of this award.

Just like the voting for miss basketball, all is done before postseason begins. Whether or not that's the best way to do it is debatable.

What did she say that was controversial ? I just watched the whole video. She stuck up for her younger brother who dominated the state of KY . She didn't criticize any other coaches but I think she raised a legitimate point.

Plenty of coaches get coach of the year, but never win it all. She needs to get her head out of the clouds. Congrats to her brother, but not called for, this wasn't her moment to speak up, classless.

She made a go figure statement that took nothing away from anyone else or the nights even. People always trying to make something out of nothing.
