Got nothing against selections but they really need to determine these winners after the season ends.

I hope you was joking with that statement. Do you really think a newspaper writer in Covington knows anything about a player in a far southern county? Or visa versa. I bet half the people on here never heard of Maci Morris, let alone some minimum wage newspaper columnist, so please tell me your joking!

Most times it probably comes down to being a popularity contest.....maybe they don't like Murphy.....if Coach Murphy is like most coaches, he could not care less about the individual award. He can use the "scoreboard" cheer to set people straight. If he does care about the individual award, there is a problem IMO.
