I always thought Harrison Co. used to have a nice field. But I haven`t seen it for a few years.

I`m not going to write them off yet. Yes one would tend to think the Purples will roll in this one and they should. But I also know we have all seen stranger things happen in the sweet 16. It`s hard to measure a players heart and Jake Ohmer seems to be on a mission.

Two great teams and one will be staying at home. Nothing personal here at all, but I wouldn`t mind seeing Cooper get over this hump one time just to see how far they could go. I think either team could cause a lot of damage in the sweet 16 and will represent the 9th region well.

Thats right scon. I sometimes cut across country from Williamstown through Owenton and they also have a few good spots to eat.

Your right about that. If you pass up Carrolton and expect to eat on up the road, you`re going hungry. Unless you want some dogs at the game.

I`m 59 and have been going to Henry County At the very least since I was 8. My Dad wouldn`t see a game all year, but we would make it the regional.I remember going with snow a half foot deep. Usually to see Shelby Co. beat Grant in either the semi finals or a couple times in the finals. I got to play there a couple times in High School. This place will always hold fond memories for me.

Not that surprised by the outcome. Just the amount.

Even though i`m a Grant Co. alum, I was glad to see Billtown put a whippen on them last night. And would love to see the Demons win the 32nd. My boys went to Williamstown ,so naturally I have a soft spot for them. They are good kids and good parents and they`re way past due. But i`m not taking anything away from the Bearcats. They have had a heck of a year also.

Wasn`t Glenn Combs from Eastern ky. I remember him from the A.B.A.. I think The Utah Stars possibly.

They take their band very serious there in Bill Town. Easily the most entertaining thing you will see there all night.

I have a hard time believing that they`re 20 teams better in the state than Oldham Co.. Maybe I caught them on a good day, but I left very impressed.

The last half of the season that Grant had , I wouldn`t bet on them beating anyone. they have a ton of experience and talent but really struggled . i realize they had some injuries. Even though Williamstown has a decent little team,it would be a shocker to see them upset Simon Kenton.My guess is the Pioneers beat the Braves in the finals by 10.

Jackie Coe and Howard Blakey were two good ones from the 60`s and Tommy Day from the seventies.

Yes he did and I might add that he was one of the smoothest players I`ve seen. He had a teammate named Carl Lewis who was tough as well. They knocked a highly ranked Grant co. team out of the district their senior year.

I`m not sure . I`ve only seen them once this year and that was early. I`ve read that they have had some injuries and I know they played a tougher schedule than they usually do but they have a lot of seasoned players. Seems they haven`t showed up in any of their big games so far. If anyone has more info on this I am curious as well .
