Hats off to Collins. They were on fire from start to finish. Grant needs to put it behind them because it doesn't`t get any easier with Conner coming to Dry Ridge Tuesday night.

Anderson is getting better every game. I never saw this coming though. They will be a team to be reckoned with come tournament time. Geez I hope Collins doesn't`t take their frustration out on my Braves tomorrow. It should be a good one also.

This maybe coming from the heart more than my head but I`ve got to go with my Braves.

Hammonds leads Grant with 27 points and 17 rebounds. Wills chipped in with10 points and 7 boards.

The Braves were led by Dylan Hammonds with 19 points and 17 boards. Micah Wills added 10 points and 9 boards.

I'm pretty sure that the 32nd is at Simon Kenton.

The toughest part this year will be making it to the region. Three solid teams competing for two slots in the 32 district. And I might add that Williamstown is a team that you can't sleep on.

Hammonds had 35 and 17. Wills had 17 and 7.

The eighth region tournament should be a hum dinger this year.

The Braves win their bracket championship in the Smokey Mountain Holiday Classic.

They play South ridge High out of Miami tomorrow. They are 11 and 1 and from what I have read they seem to be a step up in competition. It should be a measuring stick for the Braves.

They have a few quality wins. They've beaten Oldham co. by 30 also South Oldham, Lexington Christian, Bryan Station, Beechwood , Williamstown,Anderson co. and a couple teams from Tenn. They got beat at Owen co. We will find out more come January when they play Cooper, Collins, Conner, Spencer and Great Crossings. Also district rivals Walton and Simon Kenton both on the road.

I saw them play in the Marshall co. hoop fest. They were very impressive.

I was there and came away with the utmost respect for the way Williamstown took it to Grant. As far as the officiating, I thought they were on the brink of losing control of it. They turned a blind eye to a lot of hacking. It seemed like they beat Wills up every time he had the ball in the lane. But over all not a big advantage either way. They were inconsistent all night long.

What had Tyler done to get Charlie all worked up ?

I don't think Grant could have had a worse game than the did Saturday night. I honestly believe if they played the way they did last night against Oldham, they would beat Owen co. by 20 or more.

I don't know if will help or not but we had a 1976 class reunion of sorts about a month ago. Four or Five of my teammates verified what I had told you previously. Grant County was beaten by Fleming in the first round of the regional at Lewis Co.

They came out of the gate smoking tonight.

Grant at Owen tomorrow night should be a good one. Dylan Hammonds and Teagan Moore going up against each other will be worth the drive to Owenton.
