With a blowout loss to Grant County and a win over Woodford I’m not sure what to make of this Oldham team.

I posted on a different thread that I thought grant could be a sleeper in the 8th and a really tough out. But didn’t think I’d ever see the day Grant County would beat Oldham by 35. Wow…

They came out of the gate smoking tonight.

Rumor is the flu has been going through the OC team….could explain the lethargic effort tonight.

It looked to me like Grant County just outplayed them straight from the tip. Grant County may very well be a sleeper to win the 8th region. They have great size and rebound extremely well. Oldham County’s transition and paint defense was non existent tonight and Grant took full advantage.

Really shakes the 8th region up after this win. Grant just lost to Owen by 16 a couple nights ago. @ColonelMike have fun trying to figure out these rankings... I sure wouldn't want that job lol.

I sure hope they don't lose to Williamstown Thursday night.

I'd be ok with that, But I'm a Williamstown guy. LOL

Yeah, but they lose to Owen County by 16 points.  I've seen Owen this year, Coach Yetter was sitting in front of me.  Owen has the problem this year that they had last year, very poor guard play, press and trap them is the key to beating them.

But a guy like Teagan Moore can cause a lot of problems that teams can't overcome. 

and sometimes you just catch a team on the right night and get a win.

I like the Moore kid, but he seems to struggle against the better teams.

I don't think Grant could have had a worse game than the did Saturday night. I honestly believe if they played the way they did last night against Oldham, they would beat Owen co. by 20 or more.
