This. Soooooooooo much talk before the season even. Had to set a record. My favorite were the dozens of posts about how "nasty" the Desales' defense was. Just loved describing the defense as "nasty." Wanna review lol? The defense is nasty. This isn't 1A anymore. Maybe we have too many players going both ways. We might get an injury. They have played teams better than us. Western Kentucky is not the same as Jefferson county. And so on. Every thread a gazillion pages long. And then what happened? Well, apparently not only did we beat them, but we knocked their internet out as well, because there was precious little crow-eating. I agree, it was so much fun.

salisbury steak "recipe" (I wing stuff, so everything approximate) 2.5 pounds ground beef. I mix in one of those onion soup things, and half to 2/3 of "pringle" type "can" of bread crumbs, half a cup of milk, mix it all up and then form into patties. dip em in flour and then fry them in a skillet on each side to get that "crust". Stack them in slow cooker. Saute some sliced mushrooms and onions. in a bowl, pour one of those cardboard things of beef broth. Add cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup, and the mushrooms and onions and one of those mixes of aujus. Some worchestire sauce too. mix it all up, pour it in slow cooker. 4 hrs on high.

Program is pretty good when every loss is a noteworthy event. GO BIG RED!

I think the lawmakers responsible for this bill should be forced to have an official perform a colonoscopy on them.

Let's get that preseason hype started again for a Mayfield/Desales matchup lol. That game from last year won the award for "Most Pre-game Posts As Compared to Post-Game Crow Eating." I don't know where we will be traveling for the semi-finals, because my only knowledge is about M, anything I learn about opponents is accidental. Toothpick covered us pretty good, I will just repeat that last year was supposed to be our down year, and was a year many M fans were a bit nervous about. I am very excited for this year, I think this year is gonna be special. GO BIG RED!

Not impressed with a machine that can read my mind. Women, Bourbon, Football, and Food is not that difficult to discern.

I don't think Mayfield can win in 2A. Other teams platoon more, and have bigger kids. What if there is an injury? 2A is so much tougher than 1A. ......I am so sorry. I had a little flashback to preseason from last year. Okay, let's see....favorite in 2A? GO BIG RED!

Nope. I didn't nominate anyone, didn't even know it was going on. I think Hernandez and Kennemore could have been considered in the ATH position, both played both ways, and on special teams. Our coach too. In fact, if we didn't have a player to make the list, all the more reason to consider the coach. It is all good TP, five laps around the Hall Hotel for you though for not nominating anyone.

I agree that it has to be difficult to pick such a team. Congrats to all those who made it. I do notice that out of the 12 teams who won a championship or finished runner up, there is only one team that doesn't have a single player on the BGP team, The Big Red Mayfield Cardinals, 4 time straight state champions. There is always next year I guess.

I failed to make the team again. 34 year losing streak. Edit: Congrats to the kids that did. Hard work for sure.

Mayfield right where they should be. I think the gap between 3 and 4 is the biggest gap on the board, yet.

I don't know how many district titles we have, but my guess is all of them in the time frame measured. Minus two because I am usually wrong. I hope it doesn't put us ahead of T or HH because those state titles are the thing. Respect. That doesn't mean I will say we are not the greatest program, based on other factors such as I live in Mayfield, but any list like this will have quibbles and such, but it has to result in T and HH at the top. Mad props to @gchs_uk9 for the work involved.
