Watching the link in the original post makes me proud, yet again, that BO is the President. Percentage of trump voters on this site that will watch the link from start to finish....zero? 0.2? Doesn't matter. It will all be over soon, happening exactly as I predicted long before Trump got the nomination.

This is a lot of fun. Starts slow, does not stay that way. [video=youtube;4n1GT-VjjVs] Edit: Staying Alive...playoff themed.

The founders wanted term limits? Edit: @Hatz covered this already. My bad.

Hancock County vs. Mayfield Predictions (Round 1, 2A)

A gazillion to 7. GO BIG RED! -
Pleated tennis skirts as a possible solution to the mystery. I'll go with Valerie Bertinelli, Farrah Fawcett, and Olivia Newton John.

I am ready to be corrected, but I believe the bolded is incorrect. Romney did better with white voters than Reagan. Reagan got 54 percent and was a landslide winner. Romney got 59 percent and lost. That is indicative of how the demographics work. Last I heard, Trump was polling worse than what Romney actually got with white voters.

Have you all heard of Black Box Voting?

Have you heard of the boy who cried wolf? -
My two cents: Hitler didn't come to power proposing the extermination of anyone. So to say we as a nation would never allow someone into power like that is basically a false example. He was voted into power, by blaming others, threatening their expulsion, and trading on the fears and prejudices that existed. That is similar to what is going on. Does that make Trump a Hitler? Of course not. But it is worth talking about. Trump said he could kill a guy in the street and not lose support. Is that true? It truly kinda is true, which is indicative of how an authoritarian figure gets and keeps power, by making enemies of everyone else (they are the reason your life sucks) and vague promises (trust me, I can fix it). And HRC aint much better. In a different way than Trump, but she is about as establishment as establishment can be. With all the side trimmings of shady deals and skirting the law that one can expect. We could easily end up with a Hitler because we don't protect our rights. Our Constitution isn't going to protect us unless we protect it.

Mayfield 52 Caldwell County 27
MayfieldFan replied to MHSCardinal's topic in KY Football (High School)
Caldwell was better than I thought they would be after losing Cain from last year. They had speed and they made some plays. Still the second half went the way I thought the whole game would. Their QB was good. That ball came out quick, and had some zip on it. Enough about them, congrats to our kids finishing up an undefeated regular season. They have been a fine team, with solid kids behaving well and playing with enthusiasm, talent, pride, honor and everything else you could ask for. GO BIG RED! -
Congrats to Belfry (15) and Mayfield (25)

GO BIG RED! -
I was preparing a post about Trump and his statements that conflict with the Constitution. The only amendment he appears to care about is the second one. He has openly said things, and not just trivial-ignore-them-as-fluff statements, that go against every basic constitutional/american principle. I threw my notes away as they were too depressing. I really am surprised that so many conservatives, who have long championed a strict view of the constitution, would support so readily a candidate who openly says what he does. I am also surprised that HRC was able to get the nomination (in a sense) given that we could have done so much better.

Does the US really have a two party system??
MayfieldFan replied to StickerMann's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I seem to recall someone saying something about this country becoming an oligarchy. Ole Bernie Sanders. If you want better candidates, vote for them. My new standard is honesty. I am only going to vote for candidates who are honest. I know they all fudge on things like budget details and whatnot, but I want a person who is honest at their core. We chose with our votes Clinton and Trump. -
