Fly in the logic of all the comments regarding the sk Scott game? Rcc9. Please dont bother trying to tear me apart. I like most of your comments but you are so biased that you don't always give clear answers or lash out because you are so emotionally attached. That's not a bad thing. If my kids were playing i would probably be the same. I just like constructive conversations. In another post someone said that Scott would be undefeated if they had sk schedule. Really? Then the ultimate reply was basically explain your loss and their win for the same common opponent, Ryle.

I have to agree TNT ..... I can say that I am very impressed with Holmes. I put them at the top in nky. Sk is a close second and wished these two played each other. Highlands is my 3rd pick with hc 4th. Hc should he all the parts but seems to be struggling with the expectations. Sk is just rolling right now and that bodes well for them as they seemed to be gelling nicely after their first 4 or 5 games. I'm still struggling with highlands, their schedule makes it hard for me to see how good they are. I've only seen them once so hard for me to really judge them but I think Holmes runs away against highlands or hc

I wish the Bengals would have known this was an option a few weeks back when they played the Steelers. The Bengals with so many sick players could have called the Steelers and maybe put the game off. That's what they deserve (Bengals) for not having a coach with enough guts to call Pittsburgh or not knowing the rules well enough to make this kind of decision.

I don't know all the details but on the surface this doesn't make the program look to good. When kids are sick, go to your bench. They have plenty of kids but apparently they don't believe in them enough to compete. Sounds harsh but their actions speak volumes. I agree, Scott and many other teams just manned up and kept on playing. What happens with HC if they have kids sick in the districts or Regions? Will they re-schedule (I know... not an option)? or will they just forfeit? Come on coach, don't let the pressure get to you..... coach. I've always been taught as a leader that anyone can lead when things are going smooth. Real leaders step up when times are tough.

I think any of the top 4 NKY teams could win against the other on a given night. Where did you see poles that have girls rankings. I couldn't find any tonight when looking around so I would appreciate your help.

The Pioneers seem to be the real deal. Will be interesting to see how they play once they start playing the 9th region teams. My guess is they will prove out to be one of the top teams. Looks like they have played a very challenging schedule thus far. I'm not sure they have enough for HC though.

RCC9.... Many more predictions like this and you may start loosing credibility. The win by Lex Cath. over Owensboro Catholic doesn't help Highlands resume very much. Just kidding around.

I'm not sure I really understand this... First, you need to be top two in your District, then win out your Region before you can make it to State. That is the most important thing when it comes to post-season. Nothing else matters. There have been many many good teams that would have won just about any region but never made it out of districts because of the level of competition they just happen to have. I agree, I think the girls 8th Region is down from years past but I don't think you can call the top tier teams cupcakes. At least that appears to be the case when I look at the top two or three teams on KHSAA.com and who they have played. i also see some teams on here people are boasting about that really hasn't played a very tough schedule at all. The good news is that why they play the games. In the end, just get me to the State Tournament and I'll take my chances from there. Regardless of Region. i guess my point is you better believe it will mean something in March.

I would put HC as number 1 and Holmes at 2. Highlands is in the mix but their SOS isn't overly impressive to this point. At this point, I think these 3 are the strongest in the 9th and by year end it could come down to who is playing the best.

EVERYONE! better watch out for Holmes. I think they me best out of the bunch and I would put them no lower then #2.

The center for SK, Meier, is one the best I have seen. One of their Freshmen gets a lot of 'ink' but without their center they would have been in trouble against ND. If she is not one of the top she is certainly MVP for SK.

I'm not sure your qualified. It's a big jump from a league of not keeping score and where everybody gets a ribbon to having to play competitively.

OTB.... Well said in your response to me above. My bigger point that I'm trying to make is that to paint a picture that Scott is all evil is way out of line. The final game is a great example, it went both ways in terms of fouls etc... I am not a fan of the needless jabbering with refs and think that is excessive, by all players. I don't see that as dirty play but rather stupidity as it only hurts your team. To act like Scott kids are the only one's doing it then talk about spectating thru rose colored glasses. Then everyone on here talking about how pathetic these kids are for arguing a call while they are ripping a teenage kid. That is what is laughable.

Interesting.... Scott is dirty blah blah blah... All I hear is how dirty Scott was... But somehow BG is commended for giving it right back. They brought the 'fire and intensity to combat ...." I find this absolutely the truth. As a coach, I tell my kids not to back down and do everything I can to get them to play with intensity. BG did the same as Scott tonight and vice versa. BG was smarter in they took a few more dives but in the end. BG just made some terrific plays to get the win. Referee did a great job for what he was having to deal with. That's two teams wanted this title very badly. Both teams went at each other like they were playing for a championship which was enjoyable to watch these young men go at it. I know.... these 17 year olds showed their butts....hmmmmm sounds kind of familiar reading all the trash the adults are writing on here. Now you guys are the great examples. By the way, I saw great sportsmanship from both teams after they battled one another. Congrats to both teams! I would take Treadway, #5 for BG and several of these other kids on my teams any day and just tell you guys to stay away. I would win a lot too and enjoy hearing you cry.

I never realized that. Knowing this now makes me look at this all-state list entirely different. If your an 'all-state' list then it should include 'all' schools regardless. I think they should be a little embarrassed by leaving off the Scott kids and in my opinion minimizes their list.

Sounds like your trying to change the game.... and much like my name on here indicates I am by no means the 'go-to' guy for soccer strategy. However, I have even come to learn that the game has been played this way for many years and no matter how I have voiced my opinions on rules changes etc.... It's simply not going to change. I have to admit that the world cup was amazing to watch and I now deep down really hope they don't change. However, if you do get traction on changing the game. Can you do something about the off-sides? I would love to see that rule done away with. I think it would be fun to see players all over the place. But then again, I think the rest of the world has it right. It's actually quiet a spectacle watching how players have to attack and set up defenders.
