I think it's too hard for a non soccer fan to tell what good soccer player is. County and City School soccer is very different. County Soccer player might average 3 goals a game, a City Soccer player doesn't even average one Goal per game(competition/speed) and they're the D1 player, but you can't really tell. I can watch Men and Womens World Cup and not tell a difference in speed or style of play(Unless they were to play each other)

I don't understand why Pulaski Co was never considered the favorite? I thought they return 95% of their Roster. Riley Hall should be Mr. Football, but I have a feeling Kash Daniel will get it depending how far he goes in the playoffs.

Super District, Pikeville and Beechwood are the only ones that have a shot. Paris' schedule is horrific and have yet to play true away game. Paintsville schedule isn't much to write home about either, so that's the only thing that worries me to this point.

Kind of obvious, but playing teams you match up with well with, will do better for you in the long run. Early season you always see great match ups, then if your district is down, I think you can become complacent.

But with "ability" you better be able to dominate 1A football. There are plenty of kids with ability in 6A, who can't dominate in 6A. Does that make sense?

I believe Lex Cath's normal starter is UK's DLine coaches son. If there is one thing Lex Cath always has is a very good QB, I don't think he holds a candle to any of those prior, has he gotten better since his Henry Clay days, yes, but just never thought he was the mold for a Catholic QB.

I was being general in the sense, don't actually consider Woodfords OC to be a genius. Meant any OC worth their salt, should have a scheme to use the D1 Lineman to their advantage.

I think there are plenty of coaches who could make 3 D1 lineman work to their advantage. If an OC is a genius at a spread, and can't adapt to the strength of his offense you have problems. Also it's not like Franklin Co has been a defensive juggernaut over the years, so scoring 30+ on them and losing is common nature

Like I've said before how Eric Shaw and Sam Simpson keep their jobs, idk. Always underprepared, don't stress the small things, let's get rely on my athletes to make plays. type coaches.

I think it's tough, there's a certain mentality and what level you coach at. Are there women capable, of course, but Mainly I think it all depends on the level you're coached at. Off topic somewhat, there is footage of her playing in an arena league...she took some hard hits.
