Both offenses look sloppy. Sooner or later, someone will catch a long pass.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper beats all the 6A teams on their schedule. Ryle next week will be tough but that game historically is a war. Cooper is a very well coached team

Probably correct for both, this should be a good game.

I predict a pretty low scoring game. I think it will be all run all the time for Conner and Ryle's defense could be on the field a lot longer than expected. If Ryle has to count on big plays like last week, it could be a long night for the Raiders.

If Hawkins is out this game will be a lot closer than it should be. I believe this Cooper team is better this year than the last couple years and can probably beat most of the 6A schools they face.

This is an interesting topic. I can see why some may feel one way or the other but in the end, you will always be able to draw talent in with talented coaching or maybe it's the talented coaching making the best with the kids they get.

I can't imagine a scenario where a coaching staff would have left an important player in a blowout game after his 1st personal foul. That is bad game management

Ryle returns a lot of experience. Having most of your OL and your LBs back is definitely an advantage. Their only issue starting off will be the interior DL, they lost everyone to graduation.

Which 3? 8, 9 & 10?

Don't forget Sr. TJ Pierson, he was injured at the beginning of 2020 but was the best DE on the team.

I really like Verax, he will be the QB to watch in KY over the next few years. They have some very athletic juniors who contributed as sophomores that are probably going to be the targets for the next couple years.

Ryle has a lot of returning talent but has areas of need, they lost their entire interior DL and 3 starting WRs. It will be interesting to see how they fill in that DL and who steps up at WR.

Most of Ryle's O-Line is back this year, they really only lost Ruckman.

Ryle and Dixie are pretty close talent wise but it is where they have the talent that makes the difference. Dixie won't steam roll Ryle and vise versa, they will play competitively against each other. Where Dixie has the edge is coaching, they are a little bit better.

Meaning probably a different Louisville team will dominate for the next few years.

Look no further than to former juggernaut Highlands, they have struggled since Dale Mueller left and are hoping now to finally get back to form. Losing legendary coaches hurts programs simply by doubt of future success. Do I think Trinity will struggle like Highlands, of course not but 6A is as wide open as it can possibly be right now.
