Stop. I'm not even an SK fan and your last statement couldn't be more off. The new QB definitely has potential but you cannot say he makes quicker decisions and better reads than Kuntz. Kuntz was a legit QB who had a D1 offer. This new QB has played Collins, NCC, and Conner. The kid can end up being better but you cannot say right now he's better than Kuntz was.

As I stated in the update thread, Ludlow wasn't impressive. Part of that was due to Brossart playing pretty well for a team that was nearly disbanded. The move back down to 1-A next year will do nothing but help that program. Ludlow will still be in play for a home playoff game though as I believe every other team minus Beechwood is down. Beechwood could put 70+ on every other team in NKY 1A if they wished.

Gallatin and Bracken must be down because I was not impressed with this Ludlow team. Brossart was surprisingly decent looking for almost not having a team.

It's a shame that a few people make you feel like SK has no credibility. I know SK is a top team. I also know though that they don't have the top 5 defensive players in NKY all on that defense. UK you have to give credit to some other kids from other schools every once in a while.

Probably not the best idea to list Cooper's entire injury list on here...

Holy Cross was coming off of a state championship when they and SK scheduled each other I believe. So at the time I can see why SK would do it. It didn't look like a cupcake game then.

I agree with what you're saying here. Population is a factor, but you also have to establish a mentality that you're there to develop a winning program and kids will buy into that. Marksberry has done a fantastic job with SK and because of the attitude he and his staff has established, they are consistently a top 3 team in NKY.

I believe he took over as Head Coach in the 90's and was an assistant there before that. I could be wrong though.

You are on record as saying Cooper hasn't sustained success since their state run. You made this argument in a previous thread by pulling the SK score from last year. Cooper already has equalled it's win total from last year and has more winnable games on their schedule. All I'm trying to say is if you're going to make an argument about programs sustaining winning ways, you cannot base your judgement off of one season. On top of that, Ryle has had a few bad years but overall as a program they have been highly successful. The team that has been hurt the most from all of the Boone County Schools is Boone themselves. And to say that open enrollment has nothing to do with success... Let's look at Dixie. They have had at least 4 kids over the past four years at that school that should have been playing for Ludlow. All of those kids have contributed and one still is in a very big way for them.

None of the Boone Schools are worth moving to? Are you serious? You have an extremely high bias I feel. I say that mainly because in almost every thread you continue to just bash Boone County schools.

Number 6 for Cooper is Brown. His older brother plays on the varsity squad. Not sure who the kid from Highlands is.

They're a division 2 school in Ohio. So I'm guessing they compare to a 4A-5A school? A few years ago Turpin was finishing consistently every season either 10-0 or 9-1. I think they've been down the last two years. I think Dixie wins it 28-14.

I doubt there will be any. In the updates thread you could even see the Boone people saying they weren't playing well and Cooper was just overall better.

Absolutely! 2A looks tough this year.

I won't predict a score but I can tell you this is going to be a physical football game. Definitely will be a good one though! I'll take the Jags in a battle!
