Too soon to tell. It depends on how healthy Cooper is. But I voted for Cooper anyway. Gotta go with my Jags and hope they get enough of their defensive players healthy enough to play.

This could be a blow out or it could end up being a great game. Who do you think wins and why?

Game will 100% be dependent on who is back for Cooper. One thing I strongly believe is that this game will not be a blowout and will be a great battle

It's going to come down to defense. Can Cooper's get healthy and limit big plays from London and Pleasant, and can Scott's play well against a good team. Scott hasn't given up many points, but has struggled at times against some not very good teams. Also, Scott has struggled in the kicking game which could hurt them in a close game.

With Conner struggling and South Oldham getting upset last night, the winner of this game has a decent chance to win district. And Franklin County and Andersen county look to be down as well a little as well, so getting the top seed in district could set either team up for a possible playoff run.

I saw Scott only threw the ball 2 times last night completing 0. Personally I would of thought they would of tried to work on the passing game since it obviously is Scott's weakest point on offense. If Scott wants to win this game they will have to be able to at least show they can throw the ball a little bit. We all know they have one of the better rushing attacks in NKy.:thumb:

They had thrown the ball more this season up to last night, and have scored 5 or 6 TD's on pass plays, and have had at least 7-10 pass attempts per game. Not sure why they didn't throw more last night, aside from the fact that the running game was working so well. But it is still a weak point, and something they will ultimately need to be able to do to win a big game. And as I mentioned earlier, the kicking game has got to improve as well. So far this year, I think they've missed as many extra points as they've made.

Scott will run at will on that Cooper defense.

one more out this week for the Jags. Plays both ways. Might be yet another. Saw another defensive player at St. E Sports Med while we were there.

I know I am new to this,, but who has Scott played to make them such a threat? If Cooper would have played Scott's schedule and Scott would have played Cooper's schedule,, Cooper would be undefeated and Scott would be 0-5. I will have to go with Cooper in this game.

Does it matter who you play? I mean Cooper didn't have much fight against SK. Scott does have more size and speed than Cooper.

Hope they recover quickly.

I don't think so. I think Scott would be 3-2 if they had played the same schedule as Cooper (Scott loses to SK and Campbell, and beats Ryle, Boone, New Cath). Scott is very explosive and deep offensively, and have two of the top running backs in the area that can score anytime they touch the football. I think the other thing to consider is that by all accounts, Cooper is really beat up right now. Playing a super tough schedule doesn't help you if you can't come out of it healthy.

The one big advantage Cooper has is in the kicking game. Scott is struggling to kick extra points, and is being forced to go for two. This could hurt them in a close game.

As to who wins, I think Scott has the edge. I simply don't think Cooper can score enough to beat them. Either way, the winner has a great shot at winning the district.
