If you even remotely watched both Cooper games, the offense stayed the same. They threw the ball the same amount of plays. They ran basically (if not exactly) the same plays. They aren't a fancy offense but they're winning. Keep playing hard Jags!

First off let me say, NCC plays hard. They always have. Come time for them to play 2A ball, I wouldn't be surprised for them to blow right through it. Cooper looked better on offense tonight, and Prickett (sp) showed that he can chuck the ball around a little bit. Would not be surprised to see both of these teams make nice playoff runs.

If memory serves me correct this is the same style offense they were running when they went to state. If I had Cordell-Armstrong, I'd give him the ball 30 times a game too. That kid can play.

I'd say so. Cooper shut down the NCC run game last year and their defense is better this year IMO.

I agree with you 100%. No coach would ever tell an unproven player that they are going to start no matter what. Especially if there is a kid with similar skills fighting for the same position.

Well, it did rain the day before the game. Not to mention the Cooper kids play on grass and practice on grass. Did Ryle practice on the turf? If so did they not check the weather to see that it was going to rain? Good players and teams adjust to the elements and don't make excuses.

I think this will be a much better game than people are anticipating. Cooper scrimmaged Dixie and didn't play bad for only returning a few varsity starters. Ryle has the offense now that people have been praying for the past few seasons. I'm taking Cooper in a close one.

I predict this is going to be one awkward game.
