What I have noticed the past few weeks are a lot of mental issues with the kids. Heck, last night from where I was sitting in the stands I hear 3 different coaches to tell the corners to stay back and stay with the receivers at the end of the half. What happens? Kid runs right by the Cooper corner for a touchdown.

IMO I think Ludlow overlooked Dayton. If Dayton had any type of passing attack at all, they would have won this game. Far too often there were penalties by Ludlow guys at the end of the play or away from the play that would cost them. Good thing though is those are all correctable mistakes and from what I know Ludlow is realitively young. Should be a good match up next week against Bellevue for the #2 seed. (Sorry Ludlow, Beechwood will lock that #1 seed down)

The district as a whole shouldn't be within 56 of Beechwood. They are just on another level.

This game for the most part has always been a good game. It has never really mattered (minus the first and second year of Cooper's existence) what each team had. I expect an exciting game with a huge crowd. I'll take Cooper in the game but there's no way I'll be able to predict a score just by going off what their past games have been like.

I'm confused as to what your issue with Cooper is? The only team they haven't competed with is SK. The offense moved the ball against Campbell, they just didn't get it in the endzone. It's not like the offense is non-existent.

I don't know much about those school. Do know though that Bourbon has been pretty darn good in 3A. That works out really well for Scott though. They should compete for the top seed in 4A every year.

Who all is going to be in that 4A district? Could work out great for Scott.

I'm not saying Scott is bad. I just think they're untested to be honest. If anyone disagrees that they don't have play makers they're wrong because those backs are very talented. Scott does things that other teams struggle against and I think Wooley has done a great job out there. I don't want to sound like a Scott hater because they have gone from a constant doormat in football to contending every year, which is awesome. I for one think it's going to be a close, hard fought game much like last year.

So... let's say Cooper ends up winning. Are you and other guy going to still be around to man up to the loss or what?

They've also done it against bad competition. Both are great runners, don't get me wrong. The kids are good. Just not top 5 in the state good.

Side note, I have been in town for the Ludlow homecoming parade once before and it's pretty good. The floats are awesome.

I think injured Cooper is still better than Scott. Not impressed by them beating 1A and 2A schools by 40.
