I definitely agree with you. As a sophomore, Dante had some of the most natural pass catching hands I had seen in my time around football and WRs. The only WR I had been around that had similar hands was Fussinger his senior year, and he had to work to get as good as he was (which, his senior year I would say he was one of, it not the top WR in NKY). Dante though, everything is natural. I have never seen a sophomore impact the passing game the way he did, and make it look so effortless. Dante still needs to work on route running as well(which can be said about every WR in high school) but this kid has natural talent. It does help that I believe all 3 of his older brother as well as his dad play or played college ball.

As for the game I think Cooper wins it. I think by the end of the game Dante is over 1,000 yards receiving. I also think that some of the starters will be getting a rest. I do expect Boone to play physical and go out there and be respectful on the field. Unfortunately with the way things are for Boone right now, I just don't see it going their way. Cooper 49 Boone 0

Congrats to Coach Borchers and the Cooper Jags! What a great game. Ryle played great and I was impressed with Morgan as well as England. I think I said Cooper by 14 in the prediction thread. Sad to see TCA go out early. Poor kid can't seem to catch a break this year. Hopefully nothing serious. Congrats Jags, you own Union for another year!

Definitely agree with Harlan. You have the creek going by the visitor side, the mountains in the background, and the hospitality of the people in Harlan County. Great atmosphere!

Cooper by 2 TDs. As for who was asking, Coopers defense plays multiple coverages. Won't get anymore specific than that. It's one of the only defenses I have seen that looks like you can run right at it and it turns out you can't. Ryle has fantastic talent at skill positions but I do have to say Hendrix is not the only WR who can make plays for Cooper. You have Michals, little Brown, Kuchar, Jackson, Hendrix. Then at RB you have TCA and Jackson. Very talented kids there. This game has been close since I believe that 2011 game. I'm taking Cooper but that defense will have to come out ready to play as Morgan and co are a talent. PS-If Ryle still does that online sportscast, I would try not belittle Cooper like it has in the past. Typically doesn't work out for you all.

Good win for SK. Coach Marksberry and staff have done a great job with the program. Wasn't there, but sounded like it could have been a closer game. DD I will have to correct you though, Coach Borchers does not start every game with a pass. It's easy to think but over the years he's actually pretty 50/50 run/pass on first plays. As for the people commenting about route combos for Cooper, they do in fact have pass combos that have been deemed effective over the years. As for the TE, it's more of a blocking position in the Cooper offense. The kids who have been moved over the years better served the team as Ts rather than TEs. Especially the year of state where Taylor Centers was a TE and eventually moved to T. Same thing with Dustin Mitchell. Again, congrats to SK on the win and Cooper will keep getting better. Coach Borchers and his staff will have the Jags ready by the playoffs as he does every year.
