They looked very good offensively the other night. Although I think PRP's defensive philosophy played right into their hands. They SHOULD win the rest of their games and be 6-4 before the playoffs start. Injuries have hurt this team big time this year. Two starters (RB and OT) tore their ACLs and are done for the year, another starting OT has been out with a concussion and their starting ILB has been out since week 2 with a frontal lobe injury.

Hoss, I would agree about winning the rest of your games, but I am intrigued about the Iroquois game. They have started well and are in need of a test. The injury bug is one I would not wish on anyone. It hurt us last week too. You play with who you have, but it's tough when you know your injured player(s), if healthy, could have made a difference.

Good thing is that this will play out at the top before the playoffs start as Pulaski plays both Mad Southern and Bowling Green in the next several weeks.

Good to see Southwestern back in the top 10 for the first time in a few years...I don't know if they have enough firepower to hang with Pulaski but don't sleep on the Warriors, Coach French has proven over the years he can coach the game of football pretty well.

I think 5A is pretty down this year. I'm not ready to say they are 9th either. But, they are better than what many think, and this is no longer the Scott program everyone is used to. A win over Cooper will go a long way in them proving themselves. We'll all know how good they are after they play Cooper and South Oldham. Whoever wins that district will have a chance to make a run.

I agree with you. The NKY district can definitely make a run.

Jumper, do you really think Mad South can play with Pulaski? I wouldn't think so, but I know much less about those teams. I know both games last year were pretty good games, but I'd say Pulaski is better and not so sure Mad South is, except for their RB.

I'm not sure not seeing Mad South this season...my thinking was more along the lines that PC plays both and we should should know a lot about the top of 5A before the playoffs start.

 

That RB is elite...you never know...he could carry them in any game.

Good points. I was just curious if you had significant reason to believe Mad South would be likely to beat Pulaski. It will be a good game possibly.
