BigTuna6 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Ludlow wins it late. I was way off on my prediction thread. Pretty exciting game.
Panther15 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Anyone have any idea why this game was as close at it was?
hrcarrier Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Glad that Dayton kept it competitive; wish I could have made it.
frankdracman23 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Anyone have any idea why this game was as close at it was? Well Dayton beat Brossart 18-13 and Ludlow beat Brossart 16-7. And Ludlow beat Bracken Co by 42 and Dayton beat them by 19. So a 27-22 win is not out of line too much.
Onespiritedfan Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I will say this, ludlow had a ton of penalties, mostly offsides, and personal fouls. Second half Dayton couldn't stop Ludlow #21, he ran straight up the middle, kid was unstoppable.
Clyde Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Broering game story. Martin carries Ludlow to victory over Dayton
BigTuna6 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 IMO I think Ludlow overlooked Dayton. If Dayton had any type of passing attack at all, they would have won this game. Far too often there were penalties by Ludlow guys at the end of the play or away from the play that would cost them. Good thing though is those are all correctable mistakes and from what I know Ludlow is realitively young. Should be a good match up next week against Bellevue for the #2 seed. (Sorry Ludlow, Beechwood will lock that #1 seed down)
coach gray Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Great game to watch. Can't fault the effort from either team both of them played with a ton of effort and enthusiam. Congratulations to the Panthers who now own a record of 5-2 and 1-0 in district play. Huge game next week at Bellevue.
hrcarrier Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Congratulations to the Panthers; really wish the Green Devils could have pulled this one off.
theguru Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Saw a highlight package on TV, the teams sure looked competitive with each other.
