Mercer has Casey tonight 1st. I haven't seen Boyle all year but I think you put them with Pulaski and Mercer as the favorites. I would have West Jessamine right behind those three.

Right and neither did mercer that works both ways. Trevon played less in that game than any game all year. So boyle gets beat by Pulaski. Mercer beats Pulaski and mercer is 3rd out of these 3 teams?

I wouldn't put much stock in head to head on a neutral floor either. Both teams played same amount of games in same amount of days. Trevon also sat out most of the 2nd and 3rd qtr with foul trouble. Fitzgerald played the whole game

I'm not sure if Mercer is more worried about Trevon winning Mr. Basketball or winning games. Without Rode this should have been a win for mercer. LCA played team basketball, out coached and just outplayed mercer.

I'm not knocking you or the fan base in any way. The name of the thread is GRC Hyped too much too soon. There just seems too be a lot of discussion about anything GRC related basketball wise which could lead to extra hype. If every fan base was this passionate about their team the season and this site would be a lot more exciting.

There seems to be a lot of GRC fans on here. They could scrimmage KY School of the Blind and have 9 pages of comments. GRC looks to have a very talented roster that will probably be a serious contender if not favorite to win region at the end of the year. I think all the hype has been from GRC fans/parents picking them apart over every detail on this website which is what this website is for. Its good to have a fan base that cares so much.

Mercer was without Gunnar Gillis tonight. Harmon and Faulkner weren't matched up a whole lot but when they were Harmon had no chance of guarding Trevon. Harmon is young and kids definitely have off nights but I thought he may want to prove something against a top player in the state.

What does Collins have coming back next year. Who are the other favorites for Region 2 and 3?

Based on the season Reece Smith had last year you could make a case for him to be on the top ten list right now. I thought Smith was Boyle's overall best player last year. Drakeford has a chance to be top ten by the end of the season if he carries forward the success he had over the summer.

Did Shelby out gain Collins last week in total yards just lost the turnover battle?

Mercer had 3 girls sign D-1 last night and two sign with Campbellsville that were originally committed to Semo. They could have had 5 sign D-1 last night.

Could make for a confusing night if people refer to them as the mascots and not the school name

Does Shelby have chance tonight? I have not seen either team play this year. What style offense does each team play with?

Mercer definitely has the edge with the skill players. East has the edge on defense and probably up front. If Mercer could ever get their defense figured out they could make a run.

How will the potential rain effect each team or will it matter.

Boyle will beat Mercer up front on both sides of the ball. Skill players are possibly a toss up. Mercer has had a really hard time stopping the run between the tackles. Unless they have figured out something in the off week this will be the best line they have faced all year.

Bruner should be #3 on the list. Lincoln will end up being better than 7-10. Wayne may be #3 in the region. Butt was great as a 16 yr old freshmen not so much as 19 yr old senior

Mercer's offense looked better last week against Garrard. The more they open it up and get the ball to their athletes in space the better they will be. Their defense still needs a ton of work stopping the run. I like their chances with a team that likes to pass against them

When is the last time these teams played? Should be a contrast of styles. If Mercer tries to line up and run against them this will be a Garrard win. Will be interesting to see if Mercer opens up the offense. If they do I think Mercer has too many athletes/playmakers for Garrard. Mercer has to be able to get off the field on defense also.

Did Danville have most of their team this summer? I don't think Wayne is a favorite but they will definitely be dangerous next year. How much will losing Sylvester and Powell hurt Pulaski?
