My son goes to Mercer but I keep stats for Boyle, which is my Alma mater. Just don't think the Titans will be able to stay with the Rebels in this one.

Faulkner will have more tackles. You can count on that!

If there is any pics Boyle will have them because Boyle will not have to throw the ball unless they choose to. Faulkner will get a workout chasing kids down.

After watching Mercer in the first 2 games this year I thought this might be an interesting game but the Titans inconsistent play down the stretch have many of us scratching our heads as to what has happened to this bunch. Have these teams played since the playoff game that Mercer won at Rebel stadium?

I think the week off will help Mercer, but not enough. Boyle seems to keep improving every week and are a very tough match up for the Titans. With the offense really clicking right now the Rebels are a really hard team to prepare for. On defense they are very, very good, giving up only 13 pts per game and only half of those have been against their 1st team. Their team speed plus excellent line play will be too much for the Titans. Boyle wins 42-7.

I almost posted the same thing that I thought this would be an interesting game after the first few games. Great minds think alike!

 

I love Coach Buchanan to death. Awesome coach and even better guy. He's going to do awesome things at Mercer. But Boyle County is a different animal this year.

Hoping Boyle comes out quick and takes care of business from the start. I would like this to become a JV game ASAP.

Lanter has thrown 3 INT's on the year. Gillis has 5.

 

Quite frankly, Boyle will throw vs Mercer, but they probably wont need to. The Rebels only attempted 11 passes last week vs Western Hills.
