Scott can run the ball and Conner isn't great at stopping the run. Conner can pass the ball and Scott isn't great at defending the pass. This game will be close again, but I'm going with Conner by a TD

1-9 this year and 1-9 last year. HC has fallen off so far its hard to believe they won a championship just 3yrs ago. However, they have a kid that is ineligible right now that is an unbelievable athlete. He might be the best athlete in NKY the next 2yrs. Watch out for the name Derek Barnes. He is a legit D1 athlete and could start for anyone in NKY right now

Beechwood should be #4, above Campbell. Conner should be in before Scott. Other than that, I agree with the poll. I would love to see SK/Highlands game for the best team in NKY and settle the beef that UK#1 fan likes to throw out

Bellevue will not stop the Beechwood running game. Beechwood will run for as many yards as they want to. Bellevue will score, but not enough to make it even look close. Beechwood with a running clock in 3rd quarter

Take the scores between common opponents and burn them. Its all about matchups. Dixie is a bad matchup for Beechwood. Everyone would agree. However, that doesn't mean that Dixie automatically beats everyone that Beechwood plays. Conversely, CovCath isn't playing well right now, but that doesnt' mean they can't still beat Dixie. Afterall, it was a beatdown when they played.

I would love to see the Tigers win this one, but I think CCH will be too much and too big for them. CCH by a bunch

Wiggins has made the best of a bad situation at Brossart thus far, but 2A competition is not gonna bode well for Brossart, much like last year. HC get the win

BW is going to be fine. They may take their lumps against the bigger schools on the schedule, but will be fine against similar sized schools, which is what matters. The road thru Frankfort and Mayfield is going to be tough for them, so those lumps could possibly be what wins them a championship. There is a lot of football left this year for the Tigers. Let's not be to rough on them. However, for HC, they need a lot of work on their toughness and physicality. BW was not bigger than them and yet BW man-handled them all night. This is the worst HC by far, but if they can get better in the trenches, they might have a better record than last year

Not looking good for Holmes this year in 4A when you get blown out by Scott, Lloyd, and beaten by Walton. Nice win for the Bearcats

Seeing how Lloyd manhandled Holmes last week, its hard to give HC a lot of credit. This could be a year much like last year for HC. I watched how badly HC line played against Holmes, so I think BW will just come after HC and the battle in the trenches will be the deciding factor. I would love to see HC win this, but it doesn't look good. I will say that next year, HC should have some really good skill kids. If they can get the line play to get better, they could be a force in 2A.

It was brought up from the very first post. BW didn't win a championship the year that was previously mentioned and yet BW fans wants to degrade HC for doing so because they beat them very early in the year. Its not how you start, but how you finish the year. Why does history matter so much to some? Not sure. If you are going to compare how these teams have matched up historically, it is usually close for the first half. It is a true point Frank, any point of contention there? Why don't we just go by the year at hand, since it sounds like that is what you would like to do as well. HC is not good this year. BW may be down by their standards, but they will have no problem winning this game. Any disagreement Frank? Now, since you tried to be funny, go troll a Lloyd post and be funny there

Why are people still talking about HC losing to BW when HC won a state championship. NCC beat HC that year too, but didn't in the playoffs. The good teams in NKY can beat the other good teams in NKY on any given night. Any fball fan could see HC improved drastically after that matchup. Let's just focus on this year. HC is not a good football team. BW will win

If you go by past history with these two teams, HC will play tough and close for a half and then fall apart after halftime. BW wins easily
