Simon Kenton is undefeated and the 6th ranked team in 6A.

Highlands just suffered their first loss of the season to the #8 ranked 8A team in Florida.

Who is #1 in NKY?

You said in the other thread that this game should have no bearing on who is number 1 in NKY. But either way, HHS should stay #1 until someone in NKY beats them. That Miami team in my opinion would beat ANYONE in NKY

I agree no question Highlands.

I didn't start this thread to stir the pot, I started this thread so the Highlands game thread could be about the game they played and not NKY rankings.

Highlands.

I really don't understand all of the hype about being #1 in NKY though. I mean sure every team would love to hoist that mythical trophy at seasons end but it really isn't what any team in NKY should be playing for.

Simon Kenton is clearly the number 1 team in NKY right now, and since Boone and Ryle played them close I would say that the rankings are:

1. Simon Kenton

2. Ryle

3. Boone County

4. Highlands

I've lived my life in the "professor and Mary Ann" category. No sense changing now.
