No put it out there tell me what happened that was wrong and then I can tell you how it happens all the time. If anyone thinks someone is getting school paid for because of sports at any Catholic school in the Diocese of Covington then you are misinformed. If we are saying someone told the girls they would get more PT earlier at their program or have a better chance of winning, again that happens all the time. I want specifics if we are throwing accusations and calling people's character into question then let's step up to plate and be clear .

When Mike Mitchell transfered into Highlands did he take a spot from a kid who grew up in Ft. Thomas? I don't care. I think kids should play wherever they want. The comedy just ensues when the poster who keeps blasting over and over with no specific rule violations comes from a school that has benefited from transfers over the years. I'll say it again if you think anything going on at HC is any different than any other school you are either blind or not as well versed on HS athletics as you claim. I can point to dozens of examples at almost every major school in NKY in my time there playing and watching HS athletics of the exact same things you are claiming are shady. Most former players I know from the 9th are laughing every time you post. Again I ask spell it out in the 90th thread , what rule was broken and what shady thing was done.

I've said this before one here. Crazies are awesome but back when I played Elder student section at the Pit was #1 . That whole atmosphere was from a different world.

This isn't a big deal at all. The only problem I've ever had with their section was over a decade ago wit some racial themes towards Holmes. I don't believe they do that anymore. But I don't live in the area anymore.

Not going to lie I don't know this kid but if I were him I'd care much more about my college career than a 1A football title in KY.

I agree with the concept wins and losses shouldn't be the only or top reason to fire in most cases. I will say if a coach continues to under perform with the talent he does have it would be a reason to move on from said coach. All coaches aren't equal and there are plenty of bad coaches.

I don't care if it's 1 or 12. Parents can send their kids the situation they feel is best for their kids. No school district owns kids. My point is its hilarious to watch an adult throw a fit on a message board about where parents choose to send their kids. Nothing you described is illegal. As someone who played basketball in the 9th what you describe is pretty common since the dawn of AAU. Friends want to play with each other. You can go up down most rosters on both the boys and girls side . Whether they switched school 5th , 8th, or Freshman year . Who you play with growing up influences you. Why you seemed bothered by it seems petty . Unless it's your kid it shouldn't bug you.

Why is a grown man so upset about where 8th grade girls choose to play basketball. When a program has success more local kids seem to flock there. It happens in every sport . The very school you support has benefitted in football. If it happens as 8th graders and freshman and legal then I say good for the parents if they think the move is best for their children. I don't think you should worry about where other parents want to send their kids.

The reason I normally don't post in these type of threads is because while I find the stories amusing , I'd be lying if I said I didn't yell at an official or two as a player and as a fan.

The funny part about this thread is how everyone tells a story and acts like at no point in their life they yelled at an official. I find that amusing.
