LIPTON BASH

Maybe it's because I grew up Catholic and alcohol is at almost all social events and I played in tournaments at places such as Turners. I don't see this as an issue at all I don't look at alcohol as some evil as some of you seem to . If someone acts up kick them out but I have no problem allowing adults to drink adult beverages. Do you think those parents aren't drinking in front their kids at home or family functions?

I'm not a big fan of schools testing as well. But a private school has more freedom to do so. I would not be in favor of tax dollars going to randomly test someone. Also a post above mentioned colleges should do it as well and in no way would I be for testing an average adult without cause.

SC @6 is tanking in the ratings and one has to wonder how long ESPN stays with the show. So this point seems reasonable. MSNBC would snatch her up. To the title of thread I think some are missing the point. It is not that she is to the far left that is the problem. It is the double standard on punishment based on what ideology you speak. Let's not forget she was suspended in like 2008 for comparing Celtic fans to Nazis . So it's not her first incident.

Sullivan and Houston are friends this isn't a surprise. If I had a son I would send him to be coached by Sullivan as well.

Chris Lofton? As top 5 ?

I think that's obvious for two reasons. 1. This is the males section. 2. No female would come close?

Great town not a fan of the campus.

I've always said there should be no rules on transfers.

I would have zero problem. It isn't anyones business where a parent sends their child.

What region does the 9th play?

I may be looking to much into this. But when @Lawnboy13 posted CCH held the ball the final 1:20 of the first half I thought that was a momentum switch. Teams that feel they are the better team don't do that. I felt that was a bad decision. The was an over coached moment.

With the run CCH and Holmes had every other team in the region would of had long regional droughts as well.

Also I must of forgot when was CCH and HC not in the same district. I remember Holmes being seperate when was CCH? I know they were in the same district in 95 because the best team in the region HC was beat for the first time in many games by CCH in first round of districts.

Am I the only one that sees the connection with Listerman?

He is doing a good job but to be fair Holmes is at a historical bottom point right now. It makes it a little easier. There were plenty of times between 94 and now where HC had a top 5 team in the region and couldn't make it out of districts.

Agreed and chances are you are going to play each other at some point so why not get it over with. You are playing for the regional title not runner up.

I'm honestly a little shocked no one at CCH has ever eclipsed 2000 until it looks like this year.

I didn't realize that because they definitely didn't enforce it in Detroit.

Most outdated rule in KY.

One this year I don't live in NKY anymore. But plenty of former teammates and friends who do who I talk to. Plus I've seen enough games he's coached in. This isn't an attack on character or him as a person. He's an adult and this is a sports message board. My opinion is as a basketball coach he is average at best. You don't have to agree.

You can call it ridiculous doesn't bug me . I've never thought he was a good coach. Coaches in the 9th region are never worried about getting out coached when he is on the opposite bench. Holmes had two great coaches prior to this hire. Now they have an average at best . People can be offended I just call it like I see it.

I will say it. Listerman has to go. He just isn't a good basketball coach. Holmes should never be as bad as they are right now.

People do it I believe so not to be confused with Scott county.

That is a little different because it was the or one of the original Covington Diocese HS. Although Park Hills Catholic would be more accurate. There are only two Catholic schools in Covington , HC and Latin . Also yes I know CCH started in Covington.
