Highlands hoopsters to NCC

Have heard some grumblings in the Fort that several Bluebird hoopsters have or are looking at transferring to NCC. Curious to hear more on the situation.

If I was a basketball player living in Campbell County I would be looking at NCC and Campbell before Highlands. Honestly, Highlands wouldn't even be on my radar.

I would assume NCC wants all the student-athletes they can get even if they aren't great athletes.

They will benefit from the additions I am hearing.

 

NCC isnt in the position to not want anybody.

Are these just graduated eighth graders? Or high school athletes who have already played at least one year at Highlands? Are they transferring for academic or athletic reasons, or in this new age just because they want to?

Not like it doesn't happen is my guess. Guess is, no one wants to put that name on it. So it is for academic reasons. Best reason of all.
