As a former NewCath athlete and alum who grew up in Newport that answer is a NO

As I have said 100 times in not a fan on switching schools for sole reason of sports.

This may be the millionth time I have said yes. Let the kid or kids go where they want for goodness sake. They get a very short period to play and have fun so this shouldn't even be a big deal.

I agree with tiger. Let them be its no one else's business if that's what the parents and kids think is best for them rock on.

I've always said there should be no rules on transfers.

Everyone is mad when they transfer out. Everyone is happy when they transfer in.

Do not see where anyone is mad about anything other than maybe those doing the transferring. There are a few other things that I would be interested in knowing, but the truth will never be told so it is not worth putting it out there.

I was told today a couple of 8th graders are looking to the "hill" as a home next year.

 

I didn't ask for names of said players, because I'm not that concerned about it.

Absolutely that's what I'm saying. Why should anyone care. The only ones that should have an opinion on it is the kid and his/her parents!!
