LIPTON BASH

Clyde why argue with people over it, it is silly. If people are saying the reason CCH wins is because they talk to much trash , that has to be the most hilarious statement ever. I don't find trash talking to be an insult , I think it's part of the game. If opposing players can't handle it might be time to find a new sport. Whether it's true or not is irrelevant. For opposing fans to bring it up after a CCH win comes off as petty. I'm not a CCH Alum or supporter I just find this whole topic hilarious. As a guy who played ball his entire life in Covington , I never thought I'd see the day a Covington teams fan base would complain about trash talk. That's what we did on the court growing up.

Trash talking has always been apart of the game what are you talking about ?

I don't think it's a big deal as long as it isn't during the game . But why do kids need individual bottles. What happened to the powdered Gatorade to make a jug ? Schools can't afford that ? Also if I signaled my pops for Gatorade during a high school game he would be more likely to buy it and poor it out in front me than bring it to me .

Let me start by saying I'm a Covington guy. It's where I'm from. But I follow local basketball from out of town box scores so this might not be fair . But looking at Holmes resume is it fair to say their state ranking has more to do with the recent success of the program and less to do with results on the floor this year ?

So 4-19 FG. You include 3pts shots into FG attempts .

If he broke the law arrest him. Otherwise they should not be making deals on who gets to coach. I don't think the officer wanted to defend the arrest in court.

How hard is it to get a pizza chain to sponsor the tournament and provide pizza for players ? Amateur hour on event planning.

If the coaches story is true sounds like who ever that officer or security guard was needs disciplined. Common sense didn't prevail.

Actually it was a 11 wins wasn't it ? The only losses to Bama and LSU who played each other in the finals. I may not like Petrino the man. But there is no way to deny he is a very good offensive coach.

Canceling school because it's cold is a joke.

Did CCH play stall ball back in the day? I'm little surprised by the list and the players who have gone through. If you would of told me Purdon was #3 all time before seeing this list I would of called you a liar . Nothing against Steve I just have huge respect for the program and I don't consider him an all time great.

I wouldn't be shocked if Mr . Mock Turtle neck makes a late run.

Let's not go crazy with that last line.

I was about to post this game. If Harney would of just decided to dunk it the play before.....

Serious question. Should there be any second guessing on not opening up the head coaching position ?

I'm confused on Cooper still being ahead of HC ?

This time a thousand. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of calls for an offensive player extending body parts. Also jump shoots kicking their legs out on a flop. I was a jump shooter ( or tried to be ) but it is over the top with the call.

100% agree this would end up being a drain on taxpayers. People in NKY are complaining about money for a bridge and people want the state to spend money on a little used stadium ?

I'm not going to lie and I have no dog in this fight. I want SK to win so I can read the 2 thousand response from ukfan before midnight.

Awesome didn't know he had that type of leg. Just not used to reading that with KY football.

53 yd fg attempt ? Was that feasible for that kicker ?

Never had it in chili but I bet it is good. I've grown to love bison more than beef.

I remember traveling accross the river to play basketball against a GCL school who enforced this rule against our visiting KY school.

I think most non Highlands fans on here who find his posts humorous would say it's vice versa.

I'll also say a little overrated is true. It's not like St.Henry doesn't have good feeder schools to be an elite program in NKY.
