Covington Holy Cross 59 Tates Creek 28

Featured Replies

Holy Cross (3-0) was led by LaLa Chames with 16 pts, Morgan Gabbard 14.

Next up for the Indians is Allen Co-Scottsville this afternoon in the Lexus Tipoff Classic in a rematch of the state finals. Both teams lost a lot of seniors but this should still be a very good game.

What year is Chames?

What year is Chames?

8th grader I think.

3 other 8th graders on the roster.....FeAlicia Arce, & the two Piper's...Macke & Murphy.

Well that's odd. I was told no 8th graders would be on the varsity roster this year.

It's funny how some people can't get enough of giving Holy Cross a hard time about their personnel and/or roster. Chames is the ONLY 8th grader who sits and/or plays varsity. For the record if they wanted to sit them all varsity for whatever reason they could. People need to worry about their own team and support them instead of always trying to start something with HC. For someone who claims to be so connected to AAU and follow all the kids, I'm pretty sure you knew what grade Chames was you just wanted to start something. Lost a lot of respect.

For the people who know me, and a lot of you do, I always try to be honest and talk good publicly about opposing teams, players and coaches. Always have, always will, especially on the radio. And I will continue to do so. Good luck to all the area teams this year. I love watching and following 9th region basketball.

I know for softball we had to list all players, whether they played varsity or not......figured that's what is the case here.

I knew exactly what grade she's in. I also was told by HC faithful that none of them would be in the varsity roster. But they all are. And one was the leading scorer. And at least 3 of them played for other schools last year. So this is me replying to all of you that kept telling me I was just bitter. I told you it would continue to play out and I don't think it's over yet.

Btw, I'm on just about every thread on this girls Bball site. It's not just HC. You must just read HC. And you lost a lot of respect for me??? You want to discuss respect?? I'm not doing anything wrong!

Let me ask you this. Have I said anything that hasn't played out? Again, I'm doing nothing wrong. Telling the truth.

And you're gonna get all the likes on your speech and I will get none. Because others know what's going on but don't want to be connected with it. I tell it like it is. Sorry.

I can 100% confirm that there is only one 8th grader on the varsity bench for HC and that is Chames. No other 8th graders sit varsity

What's odd is your obscession with HC, let it go it's not healthy.

Are you still mad HC beat Highlands last year?

If you knew exactly what grade she was in RCC9, why did you ask?

Are you still mad HC beat Highlands last year?

Not at all. I started all this two years ago when HHS beat HC. Nice try.

If you knew exactly what grade she was in RCC9, why did you ask?

If you choose to let it happen, that's fine. I choose not to.

Because I was told no 8th grader would be on the varsity roster. No way it would happen. And if the others aren't sitting on the bench now, then that's recent.

If you choose to let it happen, that's fine. I choose not to.

Could you please answer my question, you replied with a random statement.
