  1. I don't like Doss's loss to Central, but their wins over Hopkinsville and Dunbar are stronger than Valley's best win @ Oldham Co, and the Central loss isn't as bad as the Anderson Co loss for Valley. Also, Doss won head to head @ Valley by double figures 2 weeks ago. With all that, I think its a tough sell to put Valley ahead of them.
  2. Looks good to me. I like Doss and Southwestern over Apollo/Dixie/Valley, but I think all are in the 15-25 range. I'm also intrigued by Elliott Co. They are undefeated in Ky, but have played a very weak schedule. With the remainder of their schedule, the All A Classic is the only chance they really have of making a statement. I think they very well could be a top 20 team (I have them right at 20), but it's just really hard to know.
  3. Christian Co had a quick 7-0 run to end the first half up 10, but the second half was all BG. They did a much better job taking care of the ball down the stretch. Some of that may have had to do with foul trouble limiting minutes for some Colonels. I think the way BG played in the second half was good enough to win the state championship. If they can limit turnovers they will be tough to beat.
  4. Jones is back, but that is offset by the loss of Canada. Crazy things can happen in this game, but GRC should win without too much trouble.

  10. That would be huge for Montgomery Co. Jones finally made his season debut last week, and if Canada is able to make it back, the Indians could be a threat to knock upset Paris or GRC in the 40th district if they can have everyone healthy by then.

  15. Trinity and Fern Creek have established themselves as the top 2 teams in the state currently. While I agree that Trinity should be #1 and Fern Creek #2, it isn't a stretch to have it the other way around. Fern Creek has more high quality in state wins, and even adding in Trinity's win in TN, the gap is relatively narrow either way.

  17. Agree. I feel like he does all the little things well. He never seemed to force the offense, but it sounds like he's starting to get more opportunities, and taking advantage of them.
  18. I didn't hear the broadcast, but that would be my thought as well. Without McNeil I think this was an upset. At full strength I would have considered Cooper a slight favorite.
  19. Sounds like BG decided to put in some work on their defense over the Christmas break.
  20. Eek. Hate to hear that. I've enjoyed watching him play so far the last two seasons.
  21. Nice win for Paris. They have the talent to compete for 10th region title, and games like this will only help them build their confidence. It sounds like they are playing well right now.
