Bowling Green 74 Christian County 59

Featured Replies

Final from Christian County.

County led by 12 in the 3rd.

Purples outscored Colonels 22-5 in the 4th quarter.

BG 8th grader, Zion Harmon with his best game, carries the Purples on his back for the comeback win. Purples down by 10 at the half. Christian County went nuts on 3s early in game but Purples fight back with Harmon's 28 points. The kid is very, very good!

Could be the game that gives Purples the confidence needed that they can make a major comeback against great competition.

Wilson was great in the second half scoring all 15 his points during the comeback.

He is one of my favorite players in the state. I love the way he plays the game. He plays bigger than his size.

Christian Co had a quick 7-0 run to end the first half up 10, but the second half was all BG. They did a much better job taking care of the ball down the stretch. Some of that may have had to do with foul trouble limiting minutes for some Colonels.

I think the way BG played in the second half was good enough to win the state championship. If they can limit turnovers they will be tough to beat.
