Agree? Disagree? Thoughts?

If I'm not mistaken, this means BGP, Cantrall, Litkenhous, and AP all have a different #1 this week. I doubt that happens very often.

Nice to see Apollo and Valley making some noise.

Looks good to me. I like Doss and Southwestern over Apollo/Dixie/Valley, but I think all are in the 15-25 range.

I'm also intrigued by Elliott Co. They are undefeated in Ky, but have played a very weak schedule. With the remainder of their schedule, the All A Classic is the only chance they really have of making a statement. I think they very well could be a top 20 team (I have them right at 20), but it's just really hard to know.

Doss just dropped out this week after losing to Central and Ballard in consecutive weeks. Valley has been playing well enough to be in the top 20 and IMO they are currently the second best team in the 6th Region. I feel like the 6th Region is the best in the state.

I definitely agree that they are all in the 15-25 range.

Elliott County is really tough to read. As Campbell County/Apollo/Dixie have been.

I don't like Doss's loss to Central, but their wins over Hopkinsville and Dunbar are stronger than Valley's best win @ Oldham Co, and the Central loss isn't as bad as the Anderson Co loss for Valley. Also, Doss won head to head @ Valley by double figures 2 weeks ago. With all that, I think its a tough sell to put Valley ahead of them.

No argument there but the rankings tell more of a story week to week. Trinity beat CovCath two-three weeks ago but today they are one spot behind them. CovCath beat BG by 20 two-three weeks ago. Today BG is a spot ahead of them. Two weeks ago Hoptown was on their way out of the poll but then they beat Fern Creek by 20. The same Fern Creek that just won the LIT over last week's #1 and #3 teams.

Craziness everywhere. :lol2:

I'm a fan of Elliott County, and while I think ranking them could be justified, I would probably leave them out. Like you said, though, if they do some damage in the All A, a better case can be made for including them.

I think these rankings are pretty accurate.

Apollo is tough minded and while I think they deserve a spot inside the top 20, their schedule hasn't proved as difficult as some of the teams below them. I would say the games coming up at Evansville Central, vs Bardstown and on the road in Muhlenberg County will tell you if their top 20 ranking is deserved. 15 in a row is pretty impressive no matter how you slice it.

I will say I was impressed at how they handled Owensboro Catholic in the last meeting. Catholic stormed back late but the game never really felt that close.

McCracken County is getting close. They have played very well since December. I don't think they are there yet, but if they win at Marshall County, it will help.

I like seeing 3, 9th Region teams in the top 20.

McCracken has a lot of quality wins but seeing their game against PT I will say I think PT was the better team and I think Graves is probably better than McCracken even though they lost. McCracken is good and I love to see local teams get recognition but to me they're not a top 20 team. I'll go ahead and predict that when McCracken plays at PT, PT will win and I think Graves will beat McCracken when they play again.

McCracken beat PT. I think they are better. I do not think they deserve to be ranked.
