Yeah Holmes finished second in district that year. Also, wasn't there an injury that took a while to clear. All with a running clock. Could have been 100-0. Injury with the clock running ate up most of the quarter.

No way, they should have lost that game gave up an easy TD pass from about 50 yds with less than minute left in half 2 holmes defenders watch as the ball went over their heads to the Indian receiver. Giving a lot of momentum to HC going into the locker room. All told Holmes had 2 big TDs called back one being a 90 yd return. the other about a 40 yd pass. In addition they had what would have been the game winning 2 point conversion called back. Holmes missed 3 2 pt conversion attempts. hey I HAVE IT. How about we put X,Trinity, Highlands ,Covcath, Boyle, Danville, Mayfield, Beechwood, New Cath, Belfry, and all the other Multiple state champs in their own class and then the rest can fight it out for the 5 watered down championships. AND they can have their TRUE champion.

Not pulling any punches. I agree to a point. Holmes,Dixie or Scott only have to beat the other basically to make the playoffs. a 5 team district is better than an 8 team district anyday. I disagree with the letting teams play up. If you are going to make classes then make classes and keep them. So what if HHS and CCH have to travel They were before, weren't they (Lloyd and Newport have for years and I am sure that they don't get the kind of money that CCH and HHs do)? As far as a rivalry goes Well then They could have played week 11.

If I am not in 5 team district the question is when do I schedule Bye. a couple schools of belief here. Some would say if I am looking at a tough regular season. Do I a) schedule bye for last week to rest my guys going into playoffs or b) do I schedule a bye earlier and keep my guys focused? :argue: Let the disagreements begin

Won't be a problem for 5 team districts. Already worked into rotation. Looks like a HOLMES/HOLY CROSS game week 11 every year. :dancingpa
