Lincoln Co. beat Mercer last night. Martin was held to 16 pts. Lincoln is undefeated in region play but has a game at Danville Friday night.

Agree with madman rankings are just someting to talk about........I think Lincoln Co is ranked too high too early. They play Anderson Co at home Thursday and then Henry Clay Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Lady Defender Classic.......Those games should tell something??

Golly Gee are there any other teams in 12th besides PC and SW. H ow soon we forget? Lincoln beat SW in last week of regular season. Then Lincoln only lost to SW by 7 or 8 pts in the region with Hill and Edgington fouled out! ........Can hardly wait for season to start!! ......Hey Mr. PP hope yourhaving a great summer> Is your son going to play college ball?

Congrats to all the Ladies that where chosen for the final team..........BUT how in the world did Emily Fox not make the cut???.....I know that this was based on tryouts, but how did a player that had the following stats in leading her team to semi-finals of state tournry NOT make the team?? For three games in state Emily had following stats,,,,,,,,,57 pts- 10 rebs-16 assts-8 steals.

Congrats to Emily Fox Lincoln Co. Lady Pats on being selected in the top 18 girls for Jr All-Stars. You are very worthy of that honor and should make the final cut of 12 girls and represent Lincoln Co and the 12th region proudly.

Everyone can have their own opinion, but for me I say leave the Sweet Sixteen just as it is, the greatist show in basketball. The "Bigs" dont win every year and when a non big wins its just that much sweeter......Southwestern represented the 12th Region proudly. They lost three games in region twice to Pulaski Co and one time to Lincoln Co and only beat Lincoln 9 pts in region. Dont you think PC and LC are thinking we could have played with Trinty. Okay I'm a dreamer but thats the reason they play the game. ....DONT MESS WITH THE SWEET SIXTEEN

Congrats to Lady Pats you escaped with a 4 pt victory after an 18 pt lead in 2nd half. Someone said that good teams win ugly games, w......ellll this wasn't pretty . But we will take and move on to Casey Co. This will not be a cakewalk because Randy Saylers is one of the best coaches in the state. Ths Lady Pats beat Casey at their place 30 pts just 2 wks ago and I know they can beat them again , but they need to bring their "A" game . Play hard and Good Luck Lady Pats.

Another tough loss for Lincoln. If Southwestern is # 17 in state, Lincoln should be 19th or 20th. Aw just kidding but we did beat 3 wks ago.........and we were down just 5 and had ball with about a minute to go tonight. Also on the floor at that time where 3 freshmen, a soph, and a junior. Congrats to West . They look about as "rag-tag" as Lincoln and I say that with admiration and lots of respect! The only thing that matters is the final score. Lots of luck and sucess to West against Southwestern . Purple Man wouldn't it be wild if Boyle went to state.

Congrats to Boyle Co they played a great game. Buu...t Lincoln did themselves no favors i.e. poor shot selection, cold shooting, Trent getting hurt and not much from the bench. Having said that Boyle is a much improved team and can play with most teams in the 12th . Hester in their starting is a big plus. Hope we can meet again in the finals.

Looks like both Montgomery Co and Lincoln Co had easy wins tonight. Lincoln beat Boyle by 51 pts the same as the 1st game with Boyle. Lincoln played everyone on team quite a bit except Spangler who eas reating a tweaked ankle.......Should be a good game. Either team should wiin by no more than 5 pts.

The game that would never end! Lincoln took it to Boyle in every aspect of the game. They beat them by 51 pts the same margin as the last game.........Got to see the Hall twins who are 8th graders. Lincoln will be good for a few years......But they have a tough game tomorrow night (play Montgomery Co at Berea) and then Somerset Monday night..........Congrats and good luck Lady Pats

Congrats to Boyle Co. ....BUT.......I don't think I would engrave their names on the District trophy just yet! The game did show that as well as he played Trent has to have some more help on offense. He played the whole game and had to be a little gassed and it showed in his last few shots......Don''t totally understand some of the decicions from the Lincoln bench, but what do I know?

Awesome job on defense by Pats. They forced a lot of turnovers. Trents game was huge considering possible let down after Central game. Great article in Advocate on Trent. But not one mention of Central game in Sunday's paper......Wonder if they will cover Friday's double header?........Dont knw what happened to Williams but he had to go to locker room annd get his own "ice pack". ....Coach Jones never said anything the whole game!.... Freshmen also won. But j.v. fooled around and got beat.

Just food for thought....Friday night Lincoln had ball and lead with 37 sec. left vs Madison Central. If not for over anxious freshman Lincoln MAYBE would have or could beaten Central . Any comments?

You are dead-on about Trent. But he needs to score if Lincoln goes very far in tourney. I like the way he wants the ball at end of game. Trent or his brother Trevor have been Lincoln's starting pt guard for the last 7 yrs. This season Trent is being ask to score more . he is the go-to guy for Lincoln
