Mercy is the real deal this year. I'm not sure 4th is high enough.

Assumption lost to Notre Dame last night 12/4 at Notre Dame in a hard fought game. Notre Dame led the entire game.

Simon Kenton or Walton are probably the best girls' teams in the 8th region. If Anderson Co. is 8th, then both of those schools should be on the list.

Just saw Sacred Heart last night. I haven't seen any of the other in the top ten, but if there truly are 9 others schools in the state better than them, then KY is playing some good bball! Maybe they were just on and we were way off, but they have some VERY athletic and skilled girls! They mover and rotate the ball better than ANY high school team I have ever seen. They play extremely fast and have a balanced attack. I was very impressed. We get to see Manual in a couple weeks, so I'll have a good comparison then.

Scott county defeated Dunbar this past Friday also 71-67.

Didn't Notre Dame just beat Assumption? Notre Dame should move up considerably next week if Assumption is #2 this week.

Its early in the year yet. My guess is that Assumption will drop some and Notre Dame will move up some. Road game for Assumption and a tough one at that. Teams will move around alot between now and first of the year till everyone gets a better handle on the teams. Christmas tourneys usuallly seperate alot of teams from being good to being pretenders....

Assumption to high and Notre Dame to low. Anderson at #8 has really distanced themselves from Walton and SK in the 8th Region. I love these rankings threads even though they mean absolutely nothing.

Agree with madman rankings are just someting to talk about........I think Lincoln Co is ranked too high too early. They play Anderson Co at home Thursday and then Henry Clay Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Lady Defender Classic.......Those games should tell something??

I haven't yet and I mean them no disrespect. Saw them last season. I know they have 2 outstanding players. I have seen both Walton (defending region champs) and SK play. I believe SK is the team to be in all of Northern Kentucky. I will get out to see Anderson soon though.
