Congrats to Boyle Co, I got to listen to about the last 5mins of the game, I think it was tied and Bolye took over late in the game, that is what you want to see teams do this time of year. Nice win.

Congrats to Boyle Co they played a great game. Buu...t Lincoln did themselves no favors i.e. poor shot selection, cold shooting, Trent getting hurt and not much from the bench. Having said that Boyle is a much improved team and can play with most teams in the 12th . Hester in their starting is a big plus. Hope we can meet again in the finals.

Finally winding down.....

 

Great game. It was close throughout until free throws at the end sealed the victory for Boyle County. I could not be more proud of our team. Especially since they did not quit on themselves when times got tough. They very easily could have laid down and mailed it in but they dug deep and decided they weren't going to go out like that. We definitely have our sights set on region but a life long memory was made tonight and I am extremely glad to be a part of this memory. I am happy for our boys, our coaches, our parents and fans who never gave up on these boys. And now...on to Pulaski County.

Shout out to Coach Adams. He's been here 4 years and has 2 district championships. He never gave up on these boys. Whenever I spoke to him he had frustration but he always ended our conversations with a simple phrase...."we'll get there.". Once again Coach Adams was right. I love that man. Straight up.

 

Shout out to Jeff Hester. After the Marion County game he said..."these boys will be fine. You know why? Because they have heart. I see them everyday. They won't lay down. They'll be all right.". I quit worrying from that day forward. It's no wonder kids love playing for him. I wanted to go hit somebody right then.

 

Shout out to Trent Edginton. I have been watching him against my son since the 6th grade. I'll miss those matchups. Trent is a heck of a player and my wife and I were very concerned when he went down. It was good to see him get back up and come back in the game. I have always been impressed with his skills on the court and I am very proud to have been able to watch him grow on the court. I wish him nothing but the best going forward and will be watching him play next week.

 

Shout out to Luke Hill's mother. Thank you for your kind words after the game. Tell Luke keep his head up and good luck next week. I know he'll be out to avenge this loss next year and possibly in a week or so if both of our teams take care of business. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Lincoln County's program and Luke as well as Zach have represented that well. Good luck going forward. Nothing but love to the Hill family from the Alexanders and Satterlys.
